MY biggest concern on a flight is always if all engines fail in the middle of the atlantic 3 hours from the nearest airport. EVen if you survived the impact it would take hours for the rescue crues to reach people. FOr me its the knowledge that machines can fail and malfunction.

Watching plane crashes before you fly makes you more anxious.. I tried that I nearly freaked out. Thank you! Hearing details from a pilot eases my nerves...I appreciate this clip very much..I've had a few "scary" incidents - and unfortunately always have sweaty palms when I fly. I would love to LOVE flying - maybe one day...

Thanks so much. I used to love to fly and now I dread it. Go figure. I think when I discovered I was many miles up in the air in a can it all sort of hit me. This was reassuring though.
