Jayson Werth is my favorite non dodger player, i hated that we were eliminated but glad werth went all the way, my favorite game i went to was when antonio perez broke up the pedro martinez no-no in the 8th and jayson werth came up after and hit a 2run hr. to win the game
Jayson tossed me the warm up ball that game, in the 1st inning and the 8th inning. He was playing centerfield, so he made a long toss to the Left Field Pavilion. Bobby actually caught the first toss up. Jayson tipped his hat to me and I did the same back.....it was pretty awesome. Some of the Fans around me were wondering what was up. The newer fans didn't realize he was a Dodger 3 year back.
Yeah, they were buddies when Werth was a Dodger. He seems like a really nice guy. Gonna be putting up a video later from the NLCS where I caught a Werth BP homer.
Gotta love Jayson Werth, one of Pat Gillick's great deals that he made. I'm glad he didn't let that wrist injury keep him away from the diamond.
