Every time I watch that clip on Steve's site about the family of 8 who lost everything, I cry. There aren't many people like Steve. He is one of the few true Americans we have left in this country. If I were to ever meet that family myself, I'd give those kids every one of my toys I don't play with anymore.

What Steve did was so nice & unlike other talk show hosts like Dr.Phil & Oprah Whinfrey he didn't make a big deal out of it. Steve did this because he cares about people. Dr.Phil & Oprah do it for publicity.

just watching a one minute clip made me well up, and i'm not the slightest sentimental. I love Steve and wish there were people like him in the UK

I saw this episode and it made me cry with the family of 8 who lost everything in the flood and the mom had to go find used mattresses and other things in the alleys. I'm glad Steve blessed that family with funiture and the kids toys for christmas. God bless Steve's heart.

I felt so happy for mother with seven kids when Steve gave them everything they needed (watch the full clip on the site). Anyone who says Steve doesn't help anyone needs to look at that clip.
