The camera's zooming points are completely different, and so is the contrast in both frames. This can cause eye damage or headaches to viewers. Please correct or remove this. Thank you.
I second the recommendation to correct the vertical misalignment with stereovideomaker. The alignment is off just enough to cause my eyes to "almost" sync the two pics in crossed view mode but not off enough for me to totally bail out/reject the paired images. Still...you've got excellent subject material to work with. Would like to see more...
@hwugh1 Yeah ... sadly SMM doesn't easily run on Macs, nor does it read the QT files produced by the cameras. See my latest 3D video filmed with just 2 iPod Nanos ... it's much better ... Cheers
i cant do it :( i also heard that if u go cross eyed sometimes it affects your eyes permanently and you are cross eyed until you get surgery on your eye which i did.
It takes a little practice to cross view or parallel view ... if you have anaglyph 3d glasses you can use those ... there is zero risk to your eyes ... it's an old wive's tale ... in fact, it's good exercise for the eye muscles
There is severe vertical misalignment with your cameras. this will cause headaches to people watching it cross-eye format or even with 3D glasses. Use software like "stereovideomaker" to correct it.
Ok, ill tell ya the secret of cross-eyes! just look down to your nose and concentrate on it, then slowly move them up and, TADAA!! you are cross-eyed. With a few tries you should be able to do it freely without the process from before. unfocusing your eyes also help.
This isn't to be viewed cross-eyed, this needs glasses. Have I misunderstood some terminology here? I'm looking for videos that I can view juts by crossing my eyes and no glasses required.
You clearly haven't read the notes in the info panel to the right.
Any tips on how to set alignment correctly would be much appreciated.
As for the stereo window ... try watching the higher quality version ... link in the info panel ... the Flash player used by YT does not always get it right.
You also complain about sync ... any hints on how to get closer than 1/30th second much appreciated!!!!!!!
I'll have a look at your 3D videos to get some ideas :)
lol, no i don't expect that at all. I expect you to believe that i'm not english, nor american, and that i didn't bother to look at my spelling or completing sentences because i was so frustrated that this video in fact couldn't be watched with the cross-eye effect that the title say.
And to be honest, i don't know why i got that reply from nytram1309. It wasn't an encouraging comment, and i'm certainly not an expert given that my only two videos are from an Xbox360 game...
It seems that you have difficulty viewing the video ... clearly many other people have no problem. Saying that it's the "worst videotaping EVER ... etc " will not change anything. Blaming the colours and sync ( correct to within 1/30th sec ... i cannot get closer ) will not help either. To be honest ... you got the sarcastic comment from me because your comments were not constructive ... and because I saw no evidence at all at your Channel that you might know what you're talking about!
The videos are syncronised to within 1/30th second ... the issue you observe is more likely to do with the viewpoint of each camera ... i.e the angle between the cameras.
Hi there ... when you're free-viewing the clip you should see the duck in three images ... the centre one is the one in 3D. In some of my other videos the effect is much better. keep trying ... it's worth it and when you can do it you've got it for life!
These are a beginner's efforts with all the flaws of twin camera stereography. But, it's all those successes, the harbor, the first duck, the trimming of the shrub, that make this a go! Kudos!

This is not a cross eye format. Cross eye forrmat uses two seperate frames, not overlapping green/red
Don't try cross eye with this one, you'll only get a headache

My mistake. I didn't see the drop list. Make sure you are choosing correctly for Cross-Eyed

You can now view many 3D videos here on YT in a variety of formats ... you clearly had the anaglyph option selected.

you have to change the 3d format

stereoscopic effect with one camera is easily realized when you use mirrors... just an idea...

not bad, but not perfect. if you shift one of the views by a few frames to match it up exactly it would look a lot better.
