I know that I am going to get bashed for my statement but I see something that has gone terribly wrong with Gospel music. I dont blame individuals such as Thaddeus but some of the videos that I have seen is just a display of flesh. God isnt in the picture any where. What is so bad about it is that for people under 40 we havent really seen or felt what real moves of God have felt like. Musical talent has replaced the real anointing. I hope this small note inspires someone out there to think.

Actually your theory is kinda wrong.... as a musician i can see that gospel music has changed but the annointing is still there. You can not assume that people under 40 have not seen god truely move. Youth that are truely on fire for the lord and are truely connected to god have seen movement of god. Oh and just to let you know I am not bashing you lol god bless

Actually it is not. Playing skillfully is only part of play for God. If you cant understand what I am saying then you dont know the difference between anointing and talent. Joe Sample and Herbie Hancock are some very talented musicians but that doesnt make them anointed..I will go so far as to say that lending your talents to the church doesnt make you anointed.
