  • we know how to put hair into a perfect ponytail, we don't need to watch 3 and a half minutes of it.

  • thats not a french twist. whatever that is .. it looks like shit.

  • place them in between the twist and the he-head

  • not good

  • just straightened my hair. i am going to do this twist perfectly this time, at if it doesn't turn out...im SOO sueing the......bobby pin company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The first 4 minutes were a waste of time. Skip the beginning.

  • Go to 3:44 and you'll see she sticks up the finger!!!

  • If you want to skip all the "How to brush hair tutorial" go to 3:14

  • its funny how your watching 3 minutes of just brushing her hair

  • 'but not so tight that you have a headache' ... lol

  • "You can never brush your hair too much" Yea, she kinda just proved herself wrong...

  • I wish she'd do that to my hair my hair is the same color and length as the model.

  • I LOVE this hairstyle.

  • LIKEY!!! <3 I definitely gonna try this

  • Stop being trolls, in order for this hairstyle to work out you need to have thoroughly brushed hair.

  • WOW this was painfully boring and not that informative.

  • you literally spent 3 min. brushing that ladys hair -.- ....

  • I wish she got different angles

  • I fell asleep halfway into this...

  • Wow, she really has a thing for that brush.

  • how can we know when to use bobby pin or hair pins????

  • @bonnielee1979 they're pretty much the same thing to begin with, but she says at like 6:20 when you want to use them

  • Someone's been inhaling too much hairspray...cough already, lady...

  • LOL

  • at 3:48 she does the middle fimger -.-'

  • THAT WAS NOTHING MAN

  • All she mostly does is brush her hair and put hairspray (and pins) in it. -_-

  • @FireDancer136 Thats cause a French twist is all about smoothing out hair, putting pins in, and twisting the hair a little. x]

  • cfc !!!!

  • terrible

  • "Keep brushing. You can never brush it too much."

HAHA Lol. if i brushed my hair that much i'd become like static electricity!! ;)

  • This bro is retarded. This is not even really a french twist... and she uses about 10,000 pins

  • @alextoob1 it's another version of twist

  • Make you date with naughty woman mworld5.info

  • i just love to see hair-do videos.

    i had a good time.

  • french twist -short hair

  • ugghhhhhh

  • i enjoyed this tutorial and learnt sth new. thank you.

  • We have EXACLTLY the same brush at home =)

  • Too much hairspray!

  • she is in love with that brush i wish she would stop spebding time brushing and more time styling

  • why the hell was that video 7 minutes

  • se for a chita de tazan que vai uar então ta bonito...coisa de macaco

  • i thought aft she sprayed at @3:07 she's gonna start pinning or so.. but then she picked up he brush and im like -.- urgh!

  • Comment removed

  • I know how to part my hair thank you very much.

  • you can never brush too much my ass. three minutes is way too long.

  • not impressed!

  • I like it...its kinda different the way she uses a comb to create the twist..

  • that hairdo is really ugly :L

  • that looks like my sloppy morning-out-of-bed updo.

  • 2:54 of BRUSHING HAIR. i thing it's freaking smooth now.

  • it looks like a messy bun, not a formal hairdo!

  • so slowwwww

  • @Cheesyblue524

Ya! Love the lip stick is amazing!

Tons of you ladies reading this comment don't enjoy payin for high priced beauty products. The costs add up pretty fast! Good news on MACs fb fan site they are giving away a a bunch of free stuff the rest of the month. :) If you are lazy, I will spare ya some time, here's their contest webpage.

    shortener。org/96870

Oh ya, you have to apply the code FACEBOOK5728 on page 2

  • Why?! She sprays, then brushes it all out! :S

  • this is great for "brushing hair" :)

  • wtf!!

  • Way too complicated for me.

  • Millenium is right, because it almost took her 1000 years to complete this sloppy hairdo.

  • wow, you just go to an african american hair shop with natural products they can do that without doing all that brushing and combing... and give it a smooth shiny silky finish... And using a rat tail comb for that??? wow

  • she talks as if everyone has all of these products.

    "now using your dry hairspray"

"now using you natural bristle brush"

    "using your metal rat-tail comb"

JEEZ! not everyone is lucky enough to have these kinda things just hanging around.

  • too much attention to spraying and spraying and spraying and yet cannot finish this style in a classic manner.

  • too much spraying and brushing and NO teaching of how to end this in a classic manner. I see teenagers who are giving better tutorials.

  • soooo much brushing :'(

  • started looking great and easy... but the final result is HORRIBLE XD

more than half the video was unnecesary XD

  • SHE DONT KNOW WHAT SHES DOING

  • so messy!! doesnt even look like a french twist coming from a professional hair-dresser

  • it took her 3 minutes and 20 seconds to make a low pony tail, I get that it has to be smotth, but editing the video would have kept our attention a lot better

  • THAT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A FRENCH TWIST

  • enough hair spray?! ok this is how you make the hairstyle the EASY WAY. use hair gel instead of hairsray, and just twist it up with your hand instead of a comb thats to hard.

  • This was TERRIBLE!

  • while that womens there she needs her roots done lol x

  • she ficked us off at 3:47

  • hah lol alot of hairstylists use that finger to point or grab at stuff though

  • the frist three & a half minutes are brushing , combing & hairspray .

  • It was helpful. Thanks!

  • What BS!

  • i found this tutorial helpful. thanks!

  • yes, this was very helpful

    thanks : D

  • you are awesome, so well said...this video is bogus.

  • i think she delivers a perfect tutorial, and when i have done updos on clients some times u use a lot more than 14 pins!

  • binosusume is better

  • @MrAyied yeah agree, from the start i already felt boring, unlike binosusume!

  • i agree 100%.

    wayyyyyyyy better.

and she had wayyyy longer hair.

    whatta shame.

  • I feel like I'm watchinga tutorial on how to brush hair -.-

  • her technique works on fine hair, which the model has. but this is only a basic twist, not really a french twist.

  • i did hairstyles myself with over 40 pins...

  • This is a nice looking hairstyle, but geez.

    FOURTEEN clips!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was way too involved for a simple french twist

  • That was rubbish. REALLY didn't need to see you brush the hair for half the video. And the end result was awful anyway.

  • That was a waste of life... u wearin a wig lady?

  • Firstly, the hairstyler wasted half an hour combing her model's hair. Secondly, she used enough spray to create a crater in the ozone layer and thirdly, it must take ages to stick so many hairgrips in the model's hair.

and use a wide hairclip to hold up the hair?

I am wearing my hair in a pleat now. I just twist it and hold it up with a wide hairclip or hairslide, whichever is the right term.

  • that aint no french twist

  • Alley said it was a "Millenium French Twist"

  • its funny because i am french and ive never seen this here (so why FRENCH twist) lol

  • awesome video...and u r pretty yourself too!

  • ang chakka

  • She isn't going to be having her hair brushed every day, or carrying product everyday. Once in a while won't ruin your hair.

  • agreed that she should have kept the bangs out but i think that she needed to brush it alot cus she wanted it very smooth and she totally did not use alot of hair products all she used was two types of hair spray

  • If you dont like the way she does hair dont watch the video

  • wack

  • lindo gracias por enseñarlo......

  • I french twist my hair 4-5 days a week because I live in a very humid climate..this is the most perfect french twist ever. Mine is very pretty but this video is super slick

  • can you do it without assistance?

  • thats insanly smooth.

  • Insanely ;)

  • itz good but who neds it too be perfect?

  • Thank you for this video. So far, this has been the best "how to" french twist video! I'm still looking for one that teaches you how to tuck the ends in without making the twist seem HUGE! Also, I'm looking for tips on how to fix the top of my hair after the twist is done. My hair always seems to "pop up" off the top of my head, and not in a good, modern "Gwen Stefani" way...

  • Thanks!

  • I don't get it. People complain about videos where it looks sloppy and no real effort was put into it.. and then you complain because she actually took the time to make it look nice...

  • check out binosusume's vids.

    she's a hella lot better.

  • @GREATaxesOFthor - thanks for getting me onto binosusume's videos, they are awesome

  • Well, it did end up looking good, but the video was sooo long! lol. It took like five minutes to brush her hair!

  • ...which is the reason why it looked good

  • we arent dumb, i already knew how to BRUSH my hair thanx.

  • omg. its take a 100 years to make that hairstyle!

  • sorry I meant: can I twist the hair twice around the comb?

  • can I twist it twist if I don't want the long hair left at the end?

  • Was it about brushng and spraying and smoothing or pining? lo

  • here's a fun game...take a shot everytime she says "smooth"

  • if u do that ur gunna be drunk b4 even half the video

  • slow

  • Boring and not attractive

  • very detailed for new learners ^^

  • Just one word: BORING!

  • yes the video is long, but for someone like me it's perfect.

  • 4:10 she said "smoothing any wrinkles!" lol ive nvr hear of wrinkly hair b4! lol! bt yea this vid makes me sleepy 2!

  • well done, looks great

  • I like that it's slow. It makes me sleepy.

It's also an idea I haven't seen before.

It would be better if the 'sleek bun' video wasn't in so many sections though.

  • Sooooo slow!

  • It was helpful and I appreciate it being "too long" of a video. You were clear in your speaking and I could actually see what you were doing. Thank you. BTW, I'd love to see you demo a "bump" and different techniques to achieve it

  • Think she likes brushing the hair TOOO BLOOOOOODY MUCH jeez! thot it would look better than the 1's ive already watched.... too long couldnt finish YAWN

  • she actually spends like 3 minutes just brushing it.

  • took too damn long mam.

  • cute but...too much of everything! XD

  • Pretty awesome :)

  • yeah it sucked, and it took forever.

  • that is ugley:(

    yuck

  • Why does she use so much hairspray?? I'm sure that much ain't needed!

  • not a French Twist

Im sooooooo sick of these videos calling shitty hair french twists when they most definitely aren't.

  • wow...we dont use that much pins, maximum 4 to 5, she puts 13 or somthing..so not profesionel..

  • 3 minutes in and you're still brushing! Geez!

  • nice

  • it was great

  • Will It Still Work If YOur Hair Is Thick???

  • yeah, totally works with thick hair

  • maybe not with the comb though

  • maybe it will work if your hair is thick but replacing the bobby pins by something a bit bigger, or using a stick or something...

  • easy to understand, very nice and original result! I was expecting a traditional french twist too! it's a good surprise!

  • tha was actualy pritty sweeet (Y)

    well donee loved it

  • I was expecting a classic french twist - the video title is very misleading. But this style is OK too.

  • pretty :]
