finished my belsaw course in about 7 months. got the key machine today and havent even unpacked it yet.. im perfecting my cutting by hand b4 i use the machine. but this video was a perfect demonstration!
my belsaw that i have for sale here in the uk has the micrometer which comes in handy when cutting.....also the key machine can cut lever lock keys...good video...well done
How accurately does this machine cut? I saw a little Speedex cutter the other day... they told me it was so inaccurate that all it was good for was cutting house keys. Institutional type keys required a highly accurate cut and the Speedex couldn't handle it.
@DPSVDV I understand there is an additional attachment that allows you to be able to totally cut by code, and you can even use spacer keys with the micrometer that's already on the machine to be able to cut by code. So it must be somewhat accurate. Maybe there is some way to calibrate the machine.
My first set of lessons showed up today. I'm really excited to get started on it. That key machine is gonna be cool as hell. I wonder how accurately it cuts?

I just signed up for Foley Belsaw's locksmithing course. When I'm done I'll have this same key machine. :)
