@loniquinas to help break rudiments like this down you need to be able to have a point of reference, which in this case is a paradiddle. The 'check' pattern is a paradiddle and what transforms this rudiment from a paradiddle to a book report is the addition of double strokes and flams. By this theory the rudiment is a paradiddle with extra challenges added to help further develop the modern drummer in their quest to be a better player. I mean nothing by this post than a positive message 4 others
i agree with you i grew out of drum corps when i was 18 and i started when i was 15. won a dci championship, drums, yada yada. im 26 now and i have put this aspect of my life as a rare hobby. i too am a professional now with multiple degrees from one of the best universities in the country. im simply telling you that i know casey personally and he is extremely talented

Float used to call these tutachuda's with diddle's wherever.....or in triplet form tutachut. Kinda like it sounds when you play them. Man the names have changed through the years.
the rudiment is already hard.....yet once you understand the basics of a paradiddle and the paradiddle with the accent on the first through fourth notes...this book report and grid repoty should be pretty easy.

@igknightus Actually, "nigger" is a derogatory word derived from "negro," describing someone with dark skin. It has nothing to do with people from Nigeria because it's a blanket term used for all black people, whereas Nigeria is only a small part of the very large African continent. It is wrong to call a black person a nigger no matter where you are in the world. If we accept your logic, then once again the entire world is wrong and you're the only one who "knows" what he's talking about.

In many parts of the world they are still considered inferior, and in the U.S. they have equal rights, even though men still dominate things like public office, the military, and professional sports; all things traditionally considered to be "man" jobs.

I do know my rights, I have a good friend in the state police and I learn new things every day. I have heard a hundred domestic dispute stories, and women are guilty and held accountable for their actions in just as many cases as men.
