@Nehacricketer You might be right. Rahman has taken rhythm beats from other composers but please note the tune of the song is not copied. If you carefully observe, most of the songs that are composed use the same rhythm pattern but the tunes are entirely different. Another example is Maya Machindra from Hindustani/Indian/Bharateeyudu­, where the rhythm is clearly lifted but not the tune. I hope this makes some sense. I can hardly think of a tune ARR has lifted. Do let me know if you do.

Rajini & Meena were one of my favourite onscreen couples in the 90s. I can't believe they've got more than 30 years of age difference between them. 0_0 their chemistry is so awesome! to me I think only Meena complimented Rajini the best out of all his heroines. they just click. :)

I have seen other composers use samples as that Rehman has used but were not quite as appealing. Rehman is amazing at what he does. Hands down. But he has evolved over years and must say is doing a good job despite not being very well versed with dance forms ( like Kamal Hassan) and what;s more, he has got STYLE that beats the best of the dancers!
