Players in the league know Marchand makes questionable hits...and he's certainly not the only one...but no one in the league said it was illegal. Just dirty and dangerous. Get your facts straight, dude.

utterly legal hit, I'm not at all a bruins fan... but this is textbook legality.... the hit was NEVER hip to knee, it was FUCKING BACK TO HIP... Marchand should be congratulated for a very effective hit (despite the unfortunate injury)... in the worst circumstances a 2minute minor could have been dealt... otherwise this is an UTTERLY LEGAL HIT.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Cheering when another player is hurt automatically makes you the minority. Most people don't want to see another player get injured, ESPECIALLY a concussion (they're life threatening). As much as I hate the bruins

If you watch the replay he hits him right on his thighs under his ass, and only gets low towards the end when Salo's basically on top of him, terrible call on Shannihan's part. Anyone who doesn't believe me, pause the video at 2:08. Brad can't help it if he's short and the guy flipped completely over him, thats how the guy hip checks.
