There's actually a "puff puff" in every game in the DQ series, but they were censored in the North American version until DQ VIII. VIII and IX are the only DQ games to have one in North America, and they're both not actually it, this being slimes and the other being sheep butts. o_o

@HardcoreHamster33 I'll tell you. Firstly, you need to have both the Phoenix Orb and the Final Thief Key to do it.

Fly the skies to the east of Argonia, stay low to the ground. Look for a purple door near a waterfall. Land to the left of the river (meaning the river is on your right) and follow it up. After a short climb and several monster battles, you're there.

@AeroDynamicblade Man, this brings back memories. But I'll tell you where to find it. Though, it's a bit tricky. It's near Argonia, very close, but you must have the Phoenix Orb to spot it. A bit west of the town, you'll spot a purple door from the air. Land close to the river and follow the waterfall up. If I recall, walk on the left side (river on your right) and follow it up. HOWEVER, you must have the final of the three of the thief keys to open this door. Hence, it's locked. Hope this helps

They're pretty much the most common non-human characters in the series, primarily used as the game's weakest enemy.
