Pitt and Tarentino, can you guys really hold a candle to "Lee Marvin" and "The Dirty Dozen". Well, I guess we'll eventually see. But, I'm going to watch the Dirty Dozen just before I go and see this new one and compare 'em!

Pitt thinks he's the new Clark Gable sporting that moustache. I think WW2 was a great tradgedy for Germans as well as others caught in it & I think it an absolute crime that rich actors make fat cash portraying US soldiers as dirtbag psychos. Holliwood needs to stop profitting off wars in this manner. Only a shallow idiot would accept the Holliwood version of the German or American soldier. BTW, I am a retired US infantry sergeant & my father fought in WW2. This is a disgrace to real soldiers.

ok feurzug, this is Tarentino, the dude makes great films. i don't think this was an intentional stab at the Germans.. he just wanted to make a great movie, which he did.. and if you even saw the movie you would see that majority of the info in the movie is fictitious, like the ending (no spoiler intended) doesn't correspond with the actual events of ww2.. so get over it, its a movie

I doubt the entire nation was brainwashed because Hitler was able to remove the Chancellor quite easily...something one can only do when one has the support of quite a bit of people.....I understand that you may feel miffed that some people may associate German with Nazis, but please try to pull your head out of your ass. Dude, the Jews in this movie are partly villains. That is what QT does, you just always assume people who associate with jews or their history are just kissing their ass. Which means you think that is basically the only reason to even make films with/about them. So don't blame a movie for your own problems.
