@moophoto I ended up buying one from ebay and I'm very disappointed because it has an extremely annoying high pitch whine. I guess I need to pick up a cable to get the most out of it.
@iMike360 I'm sorry to hear that. I don't actually use mine via bluetooth a whole lot but the few times I do it's tolerable for short listening. What are you streaming from and is it bluetooth 2.1 a2dp?
Good review but I find the high-frequency pitch when connected via Bluetooth extremely annoying. It's not interference because its volume varies with the music volume. It tends not to be present in podcasts which typically utilize only a small percentage (voice) of the frequency spectrum that music does. I'm not sure if all the NX-B02 units suffer from this or just some. The high-frequency pitch is not present when connected via a cable.
@DirkaDirka07 Thanks. I find the high frequency pitch comes and goes but I don't find it annoying enough for the purposes I use it - casual listening and podcasts. I agree though that when it it is present I find it annoying enough that I'd rather just stop listening or switch to cable - thankfully it happens less frequently. One thing I did not test to see if battery level is directly correlated to this issue.
I ran the set down on a NiMH cells and it had the noise the entire time. I contacted Yamaha and they claim that a replacement will fix this issue. I have my doubts but I plan to give them a chance in case they did come up with a fix. It appears from the number of times I've seen this complaint that this may be a design issue. I do not have this problem with any of the bluetooth stereo headsets or the car receiver that I own. I have 4 different models.
@Krassis Thanks. What you hear is what you get. There is no separate woofer for the deep tones so you aren't going to get a lot of strong bass. It is sufficient for normal listening but you aren't going to be rockin your table with the bass. If you want to 'feel' the music thump, these aren't going to do it for you.
This is a very "graceful" video. =p

How loud does it get?
I want to be able to bring it into the bathroom with me so it has to beat the sound of the shower.

@iMike360 It'll have no problem beating the sound of the shower. Its pretty loud for such a small box.

Very good review.
I'm searchin' for an Bluetooth Speaker Device and I don't know how I should Decide. Can your say to me how are the deep tones at the Yamaha BX-02?
