so leave at least one guy in the front row and then attack the guys in the back row.

then you don't have to use so much MP and be prepared for Golbez

i think first you have to kill first 2 calca's and 2 brina's then kill the other ones

If you're not trying to fill the bestiary, then this is a really good tactic;

destroy one of the orange or purple dolls, then completely wipe out all of the dolls of the other colour, then destroy the last two.

This is the only way to ensure that the dolls don't merge

You get Dual-cast by giving a total of 3 augments to the twins.

Auto-potion to Porom

Item-Lore to Palom

And Curse to Palom

Talk to the leader-mage in Mysidia Prayer-tower and he'll give you Twincast(x2), Cry, Bluff, AND Dualcast

They're not pets D: they're Eidolons, she just summons them to help. And if you lose against Golbez you lose Rydia, she doesn't become a permanent character until you beat him

how to go to underworld: get the crystal from the dark elf get called up by kain to tower of zot, beat it, then join kain in beating barbarcia, he gives u a rock, go to main map on ur ship then go to agart near bottom of the map put the rock in the well in center of town to open up a hole to underworld. ( i think thats right )

you get it, once you get the airship after palom and parom are turned to stone. You go back to where palom and parom are from and make your way to the room BEHIND THE CRYSTAL CHAMBER. then talk to the elder and you get augments galore. but only if u do it then.

Other tip, if you dont defeat calcobrina as one in time, they turn back into the six dolls again. Then you can kill them all and get more exp.

the easiest way to beat them is by teaching cecil and rosa twincast and using it and it will do over 1000 damage and kill them right away

The Sleep Sword is in the castle of Eblan and the castle of Eblan is at the bottom-right island on the map. It's in a chest but you get attacked by three huge goblins and they're pretty tough.

i beat all of the dolls B4 they got 2 use the transformation, and i was only on level 30. all i had 2 do was have rosa cast slow on all of them then attack with cecil and yang, kain jump and have rosa heal the party. i had 2 be quick with the selecting.

Do you remember the twins(Palom and Porom) you teamed up with back in Mysidia? Well, you had to give them certain Augment abilities before they leave the team. Once you go back to see the Elder in Mysidia, you'll inform him of what happened and he will give you Dualcast, along with others that belonged to the twins.

hey... I just missed my chance on getting Dual-Cast and i also talked to the elders and got 2 twincasts... Do you think its worth it to go all the way to my other save file where I DO have porom and Palom and start over from there? Also, Everytime one of my characters die, I always unequip everything of them... Is that good?

nah...dual cast is really unnecessary. you'll get omnicast toward teh end of the game so that'll make up and if you do the 2nd run through, all your abilities will transfer

I think there's no way to beat the dolls without the transformation. Good walkthrough

There is actually a way, but you must be quick about it. Use Rosa to cast Slow on them, then use Yang's Focus technique three or four times, then Kick. Attack with Cecil regularly/Kain's Cry/Jump, etc. By the time Yang is able to pull off Kick, two or three of the dolls should be history. Kick should take care of the rest.

I found that having Cecil and Rosa twincast it kills them all but it has to be done on the first turn. Sadly it waste your mp
