  • He considers himself more of a musican then a pianist.

then why play these kind of pieces ?

  • @janvandoedelpuk Good question. Maybe because even a musician has the urge to show off now and then. Or, perhaps because this piece has a certain latin temperamental feel to it.

  • talk about a piece i'd love to play....but never would be able to. oh to be born with the proficiency to play this music without having to slave over it

  • i like this very much, similar to guiterrez, unfortunatly he makes quite a few slips in the beggining, but a great performance

  • A very impressive performance by a great virtuoso. Sure, Cuba should be very proud of him .

  • Jorge Prats is unbelievable in every note.

  • totally amazing, this mans brains consists of sparks- we his the real master of glissando

  • This guy is as good as Horowitz in this piece.

  • I think this is even better, because this is clearer and you can hear every part. Also this sounds better.

  • horowitz hardly had the clearest of sounds, and he can get very sloppy at times due to his radical approach, but he has 'details' that few seem to match. i think this is a more virtuosic rendition (consider the age!) and of course, more clarity. both are wonderful nevertheless.

  • He is faster for sure but certainly not as subtle or entertaining.

  • @meredith21846 Who are you comparing to?

  • @Halloojj122 Horowitz of course. On reflection an unfair comparison.

  • @meredith218461 Hehe ok, i've checked it now, i still like this one better though.
