That's an ex-Laidlaw bus. A few of my friends drove buses from this batch, and they were nice! I like the air ride seat, and the kickdown that happens when you're merging. These were the last that Laidlaw Canada bought before First bought them. All of the ones that FSC bought afterwards are cheapo! I like the 3800 Corbeils though. Really cool video, thanks!

It still amazes me how cheaply First Student specs their buses. If they can get away with the bare minimum they will. Lowest seat back made, cheap MaxxForce7 engine, hydraulic brakes, spring ride.. the list goes on.

@ICDave That's actually an ex-Laidlaw bus. Back before FS came in, Laidlaw actually spec'd their buses decently for such a large company - at least in Canada they did! I rode on lots of these buses during high school, and the ICs they started buying in 06 had a pretty decent seat (I think it's air ride, if it's something different please let me know), but when FS came in, the cheaping began. I have freinds who drive for FS who say they prefer any of the ex-Laidlaw buses over anything from First.
