if the drum top is permeable like skin it should stain it like a henna tattoo, and it's not alive so the layers wont slough off. I think it should be pretty permanent
BEAUTIFUL!! One of the nicect Henna designs I've seen! Do you have any other Henna videos? (Do you happen to be in the NY area- I will definitly keep you in mind for when I get married, and have my Henna party!)
That is one of the best designs that l have seen so far, Is that your own design?. Sometimes it is far to easy to do designs with Pen to Paper, But when you actually try and do it on somebody it is very tricky. I thoughly enjoyed watching your masterpiece. Thank your for sharing.
is it just normal henna you use? and then when its dry do you leave it on? coz im thinking of maybe doing some on my drum, but i dont wanna ruin the drum!!
beautiful!!!

I used henna powder mixed with lemon juice. Leave out the essential oils for drum heads, as the oils can damage the skin.
Henna will only take on unsealed, natural skin drum heads. If you don't know if yours is unsealed, you can ask at your local music store.
Best of luck with your project! I hope you'll share the outcome!
Take care,
Beth
