I don't get what's the problem with this. Italians want their kids to marry Italians, Greeks to marry Greeks (the idea was celebrated in My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Muslims to Muslims, etc, etc. So what if Jews want their kids to marry other Jews. Anyone who comes from a strong ethnic background feels exactly the same.
