WSM-TV first used the "We're 4" campaign in the summer of 1980. The music and the singers were the same as one version used on WBZ.
"We're 4" continued on WSM-TV until the fall of 1981, when Gillett Broadcasting bought the station and Gari's "Hello Nashville" campaign began.
