It is pretty thick at that volume :-), are you using a attenuator? to not get in trouble with your neighbors? If you put the amp at the same setting exept gain, where gain is max 2... then you loose thickness and bass.
@sangsaratrip Thats not true. 58 is EQed for a lowmid bump ( more suitable for male rock vocals ). 57 has a flat EQ response. 57 can also handle more dBs input than a 58.
So if you ran the amp on full throttle, would it overload the mic? Sometimes when I record something (I'm using an mp3 player with a build in mic lol) I have problems with volume so it doesn't overload and when I see guys putting the mic 10 cm next to a cab I just don't know... I guess that's why it's called dynamic lol.
Yes. I've tried many gibson les paul custom. But i prefer this one:)

Killer sound! How does that Burny sound? Good enough to be bought over an Epiphone?

Do you find the badger a bit thin sounding on clean setting comparing with it on the highest gain setting?

Not at all. For me it`s thick enought. :)

the only difference between a 57 and a 58 is that the 58 has a windscreen, same mic, just take of windscreen

That depends on how you set the input. But I can play at full throttle if I run a sm57, or 58 kind of mic.
