    These are half life 2 beta Metropolice sounds, Metropolice originally sounded this way.

  • @killgroy The test was mainly about Metropolices performing basic scripted sequences, not Voice Overs.

    Also, I personally like the Beta VOs for Metropolice because they sound distant from Combine Soldiers. Thank's for the suggestion though.

  • @Dude5464673 The CP voices from the game you can either get them off youtube (or some other site) or rip them out of the game yourself.

  • @Dude5464673 Don't listen to killgroy, he doesn't know the origin of these voice overs. These Metropolice voice overs are actually from the Half-Life 2 Beta. I'm pretty sure you can google the VO's off google and possibly get a pack of them.

  • @Ltmcdejq I don't know what the exact problem is, but it's possibly one of these.

    1. You probably didn't set a trigger for it.

    2. The animation probably triggered before you saw it, set it to loop.

    3. You possibly misspelled the animation's name, just copy and paste the model's animation into the available fields.

    4. The animation on the model probably doesn't exist.

    5. You aren't using a scripted sequence entity, your just looking at NPC animations.

    I made a half life 2 mod and did everything in C++ that I was supposed to do (I.E. Changing a file to "Release" instead of "De-bug") Anyways, I have my mod shown up on my steam list and everything and have started making a map in hammer SDK with it. However if I want to play it after compiling I always get a long error about how it failed because "FS" was already running or something. CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I've done this for exactly 2 days when it comes to modding. thanks!

  • @IGotzNoSkittles78 Thanks a lot man, I actually got the problem situated, I was running my game exactly after I compiled it. That was my main problem there. To fix it I just compile it without starting the game and then after words load my mod. Go to the Console and type in "Map [insert map name here]" and I'm able to play. Thanks anyways though bro.

  • @xweert711 Hey, thanks for the reply but I fixed it. I was running the map imediatly after I compiled it. I needed to compile, then close/lower SDK. Then open up my mod and open the map manually.

  • @jordz0005 ai_relationship, set the option to neutral, disposition to 200, everything else is expanatory(type "player" in one of the options, without quotes ofcourse).

  • @Deliphin11 you can create multiple ai_relationships, you arn't limmited to just one.

  • @Deliphin11 Uh, no, i stopped useing hammer because Valve broke it, so im waiting on a FULL fix. Go search up some youtube tutorials, or go on google.

  • @Xerothe0th There are alot of ways to "get them to talk", ambient_generic(adds in sounds), Faceposer(Gets them to talk) or going on window's movie maker and adding in their voices. :P

    And to slam the cititizen on the wall, thats just a scripted_sequence which makes the npcs do a certain animation. Positioning your npcs and timing them to do animations will give you amazing results, and no, im not gonna make a tutorial xP

    Tutorials: No, i dont intend on making tutorials, because ill get alot of dumbasses asking me the same shit i just explained in a tutorial.

    Face Poser: Valve messed up the Source SDK big time, not your fault

    WMM: You asked how'd i get them to talk, i used windows movie maker to add in the voices, not modify them.

    Ambient_Generic: Google it up.

    Instead of going on youtube, and typing in comments, i suggest you search all this shit up on your own. Google is your friend :P
