This album was amazing. I looked for Olu through the years waiting for him to blow, blow, blow up. When you find great message music (because I don't buy music that doesn't give good messages), you want that artist to stay feeding the world great stuff. Man, I just kept wishing the world would know his and love his music in greater masses. But God does some amazing things in people who walk with Him - maybe Olu is still to come!

Love this song from 1998.....so smooth, and so prophetic too, it tells the story of so many young black women, and I applaud Olu for doing it. This is the type of music that is greatly needed today, not the negative crap that floods the radio airwaves with garbage. I don't know if he's still performing, but if he's not, I hope he will come back and continue to help carry the flame for positive, uplifting music, I know I'm thirsty for it, and I'm sure many of you feel this way also, a great song.

The best song on the album 'soul catcher' was 'a change is gonna come' bearing in mind, many people have made a version of this song, i think olu's the best. it just takes me there...

I can't believe this came out in 1999 (I was like only in the 5th grade) I just discovered it a few days ago on VH1 sub soul, I was like "who is that I need the cut ASAP" so now I'm listening to it constantly I can't get enough of it.. Love this song from 1998.....so smooth, and so prophetic too, it tells the story of so many young black women, and I applaud Olu for doing it. This is the type of music that is greatly needed today, not the negative crap that floods the radio airwaves with garbage. I don't know if he's still performing, but if he's not, I hope he will come back and continue to help carry the flame for positive, uplifting music, I know I'm thirsty for it, and I'm sure many of you feel this way also, a great song.
