I remember reading that this song was written about a particular aspect in Jon's childhood, and a very unfortunate one - I don't wanna say what it was cuz I may be wrong, but when I read it, my heart sunk. But this song still shows optimism, which is why I love them so much. They can still put out that message without sounding negative. Bon Jovi has been and always will be my idols.

@WEINBAUER That's what I've been saying.This album reminds me of what happened to Def Leppard.They made Hysteria and then they make Adrenalize and Euphoria and they sound exactly like Hysteria.It was great with Crush and Bounce,but they just kept going with it and to me got stale and boring really quick.At least when they did Lost Highway and The Circle they changed it up a little bit.
