I'm sorry, but seriously people, knowing that this was improvised (at least when he's intimidating the thug against the fence), when you pit it against, say, De Niro's famous improv scene in front of the mirror in Taxi Driver, De Niro, as great as he is, just DOESN'T COME CLOSE. Denzel is an acting genius. I don't know who's scarier, Joe Pesci in Goodfellas or Casino or Denzel in this, and that's saying something. Denzel is fire, a frightening, frightening man when he's in character.
