Don't even compare this year's celtics to lat year's Cleveland. Thats plain stupid. Cleveland got past Detroit because of one amazing player, but you can't win a championship with one guy, even if his name is LeBron. Lamars going to be guarding KG, unless they want to put Radmonvic on Perkins or Garnett (which would be stupid). KG is greater than Pau. And Pierce holds Kobe down enough to give Celtics a chance, while Ray Allen runs Kobe through a gauntlet of screens every time down the court.

Perkins would kill Radmonovic on the offensive boards, and he'd be able to post him up a little too. I said Paul Pierce would hold Kobe down enough to give a Celtics a chance. basically, pierce wouldn't let Kobe go off. Yeah Kobes the best closer in the game, but Pierce isn't too bad himself. And the Lakers haven't faced a defense this good all year; the Spurs are too old to play the great defense that they used to. Celtics have four great defenders in their starting lineup not named Ray Allen.

That is a valid point. I also think a big X-factor for this series is Rondo (once again). Not a lot of people have seen him play up to his potential with his so-so series against Detroit. But now that he doesn't have to guard Billups, I think he'll have even more energy for offense. If he would just shoot the ball like he did during the season, the Celtics offense would look great. But he hasn't had a lot of confidence lately....

Radmonvic is not a shot blocker, and Gasol isn't that great of one for a 7 footer. Not any better than Rasheed. I don't think his problem will be the Laker's length, because he has great lenght himself. It will be, like you said, purely and simply finishing. His finishing has gotten really shaky this postseason, whereas in the regular season, he was one of the best. But yeah, it will come down to the point guards.
