I guess one has to be stoned out of their minds to "get" The Melvins because I just can't hear what's so great about this band. I've been a music fan for over 30 years and typically can find something good in just about every band but The Melvins leave me stumped, trying to find something to latch onto but I can't.... forgive me.

@tommybass40 well i disagree with your first statement as ive never smoked pot. i recomend to you, their cover of smells like teen spirit as its the worst thing theyve ever done and probably the most people friendly thing as well.. having said that, when you look at the melvins from a music writing prospective, its hard to find anything better... i also recomend watching live performances.. cause theyre really good.
