I've beem folowing the whole series, since I'm familiar with the ny art scene and pop art movement and all. Do you really think this will tide us over though?
In some ways I could accept that opinion. yet most if not all modern art is basically incomparable to what came before, the real art, the realism, the true talent. Modern or pop art varieties are influenced by our own fast paced fast food era.
Yet it is not about the paintings themselves. it's about the scene, the part that you don't get from just looking at a picture. When you delve into that, you can never look at the pseudo-art image in the same way. You will always realize that it was an outstanding movement of counterculture. The art then becomes inseparable from the higher ideals.
I've always thought about that blay. But I usually don't say anything. People are very over-protective of him. MysterEy1 said it well. Either way he was a great artist even though I think some of his stuff was a bit pretentious.
BTW MysterEy1 I think your videos are really great and very talented.
Interesting point - it was a unique era that was able to celebrate Warhol and his group. We shall see what comes up next if anything!

Does anyone else think that Andy Warhol's work is pseudo-art? It's glorified advertising isn't it?
