@Zazychan Agree. They wanted her to look innocent because it makes her becoming a crystal more tragic. A poor creature unspoiled from the horrors of the world... I think it worked too. Snow is supposed to be the heroic knight saving the poor princess. That's why her name is Serah: Sarah means "princess" and it's a recurring name for princess in FF. You probably already know this but I was just telling everyone.
