Having worked at the 911 center for 12 years as a radio tech I can say that these folk are the most dedicated group of professionals I've ever had the honor of being associated with. I feel that I am a better person just for having known these unsung heroes.

I want to work for 911. I listen to the radio traffic online and it seems rewarding without being in the line of duty. This is the first point when people call for help and with my customer service skills I would like to help people get the help they need.

im a dispatcher in florida. i love it. although ill have to leave once i complete my fire academy it truely is an interesting and VERY rewarding career. Ill miss it..but now ill get to jump in my turnouts and have some on the scene fun instead of hearsay fun lmao
