i have a staffie and next year will be getting another one, they are so misunderstood by society because of the bad reputation these morons have given them. Instead of getting rid of the breed maybe they should bring back the dog license? i'd be more than happy to pay a small sum to have my dogs, they are part of the family and great with my children.
dont have a staffie but got friends who have them and they are all fantastic, loyal, loving, playful, fun, intelligent dogs - worse you ever get from them is a good licking!!!

I have a five year old staffy called Quake. he was still born when his mother gave birth to a litter of 7. I helped her. when he popped out not breathing and lifeless, I carefully moved him away from his mum to stop her becoming too distressed, at this point, a huge bubble popped from his nose and he sprang to life. He is now 5, the most loving playful and loyal companion anyone could ever wish to have walk beside them through life. God bless those who offer sanctuary to life's rejected ones...
The love and loyalty a Staffy will give you is second to none. The breed is wonderful, kind, gentle and funny. They are the smiley dgs. we need to see more of them smiling x
Oh goodness me i guess lots of people agree with my comment :) My staffy boy is coming up to two years now and is still very friendly-despite being attacked several times-almost always by labradors.
People seem to think that because they own a lab it'll turn out like a perfect andrex puppy without any training. ALL dogs need correct guidence and training regardless of the breed.
About time they changed the law to persecute bad owners and not murder dogs on looks alone.
just read your comment my staffie is really well trained (even if i do say so myself!) we can walk her of the lead and she doesnt wander, she could see a cat and ignore it and tends to ignore other dogs. Up until recently whenever we met other people whilst walking i would put her back on her lead because of the frightened reactions of people when they saw her! I have stopped doing this they need to realise that shes not going to attack! But since this 3 dogs have gone for mine!
My wonderful staffie Cruz is the best I use him in training excercises to help other dogs (all other breeds) that have issues whether human to human or dog to dogso tell me it is always staffies that have issues NO! dont blame the dog - blame the irresponsible handler!!!!
Hopefully the new non-breed specific DDA will pass through the house of lords and finally the blame will be on the OWNERS of misbehaving dogs (of all breeds). I have never came across a vicious staffy. All the staffy's that I've came across wanted nothing more than a kiss and cuddle! Such sweet lovely dogs are sadly being ruined by stupid chavs wanting them as weapons. Th media again do no justice for the staff and over dramatize them as dangerous dogs with out proper clarification to prove. Rottweilers and other big bull/mastif dogs have a bad rep too.

We got our wonderfull Samson from a rescue centre to look at him he looks a big scary boy, he was beaten and had his legs broken as a puppy, we have had him from a year old and he is amazing. He is loyal loving gentle and an absolute pleasure, he us amazing with our two kids that came along after him, he loves getting dressed up by my kids and playing with them. im a staffie owner and i saved my ozzie at 8 months old i was his third owner he was 3 on april 1 this year i think his first owner tried to make him fight because he is so scared of outher dogs he is so loving as are all the staffies ive meet
I had the most loving gentle staffordshire bull terrier for thirteen years and raised two children alongside him, he loved children and other dogs in a time when there was no stigma attached to the breed, the dog hasnt changed but the owners have, two years on and i still miss my loving friend every day.
Most beautiful and loving dog in existance. I have never had an unpleasant experience with them. Extremely loyal and affectionate to any one who even looks at one. Are they a threat to anyone.... Pfblt! Hardly. Staffies are very much loved by all here in Australia. It should be the same over there.

i had my 5 month old staffy puppy seized a week ago, i thought she was being taken to kennels, an hour later she had been put to sleep, i have a petition going to try and amend this law that judges on looks not anything else, how could they take a pup from a loving home and kill her, while yobs are giving these dogs a bad name they dont stand a chance, but i am determined to do something anything, these animals have no voice, but i do, we can all try for our pets,

Where is it gonna stop? If governments keep banning certain breeds of dogs the sick people who fight dogs will just use another breed. What happens when they start using Golden Retrievers? My staffy currently has puppies. but i still agree with this video, irresponsible breeding by people that don’t have a clue what they are doing, not only are staffs being over bred but the breed is deteriorating. They simply don’t know which dogs make good couples. These days its important to find owners before you even breed your dog. Leave it up to those that have good reps.
breeding dogs dosnt guarantee you a profit, you could end up with 1 puppy and a C section bill.
Someone In my town has tryed getting me to breed my Stafford, Kodi. He has a male Identical to her. She is very chunky and gorgeous. I would love to have a litter of puppies.. but in reality I NEVER would. Yes if everything was all rainbow perfect I probably would. But the facts are the facts. These dogs are getting too much. My female is booked in to be spayed now as none of my dogs will ever be bred, nor will my cats or rats. Breeding is unneccissary at the moment and for many years to come.

Great video. I was out with my STB afew weeks ago.We meet a woman with 3 Jack Russells, although the woman had no control over her dogs she didn't have a lead for any of them and they started barking and jumping all over my dog. Kofi put up with it for a while but when she had enough she warned them with a growl and when that didnt work she went for one of them. She started on me saying agressive dogs like mine should be shot. Its dumb owners like this that should be banned and not the dog.

Most people sadly can't tell a staffy from a pitt...and they couldn't identify a pitt if it handed them it's family history...I've been told my sister's CORGI/GSD!!! is a pitt! and my tri-color collie is a dobby or rott depending on the person.

I have had staffies all my life and would never have another breed, I'm all for bring back dog licencing, with the rules that bull breads cannot be sold to anyone under 21, or be walked by anyone under 21 with out an adult. that would soon putthe chavs off if they had to walk with there parents just tp have the dog with them

I know how you feel. Mine was attacked my a labrador. Last week my 15 week old pup got attacked by a spaniel too. Luckily she only had a small cut on her eye.
She's layed here now with me, And sleeping on my arm as I type. I'm 15 years old, yet I know of no other people as educated about their dogs than myself. I am going on to study dog psychology this year (As well as to be a veterinary surgeon).

IF this happens again please remember that Jack Russels and their owners are just as liable to be subject to The Dangerous Dogs Act' as our lovely Staffies are. If this guys dog is not keeping his dog (or himself) under control he should be reported.

I'm watching this in bed and two of my girls are laying here cuddled up to me. I was attacked on bowing day by a collie. Left with muscle damage now. And my girl Rizz was attacked by a labrador and lack russell terrier. I had to hold her above my head and kick off the two dogs until the owner came out. Staffords aren't bad dogs, theres just too many idiots and ignorant people. Save the staffs.
i took my four month old staffy puppy to the park today for a play and every yorkie and westie he ran up to with tail wagging growled and snapped at him. The only other dog that would play with him was another full grown very friendly staff. I've never met an unfriendly bull type dog but i've been snapped at by plenty of little rat 'toy' dogs.
Sadly the staffs history and muscley comformation has made them popular with the wrong sort of people. Blame the deed not the breed.

I took my girl to the park and most owners were horrible! There was a guy up there with the biggest 'Staffy' I've ever seen. He loved my girl to bits! We ended up walking them together everyday until I moved house. He was a giant softy!

All dogs can be dangerous if you dont bring them up properly with the correct amount of supervision. I have a staffy and she is very good and wouldnt harm a fly. I know I can trust her as I have trained her properly and dont just use her for status like useless no life chavs who think somehow they are hard because they have a big dog by their side. Ban a staffy and they will find another breed to use to try and make their point. These people dont deserve to have a dog and use it the way they do.

south today 08/12/09 brighton and hove council seek a ban on staffordshire bull terriers. this breed has been responsible for 70 dog attacks this year and is this UK,s most abandoned breed. rescue kennels find this breed to be the hardest breed to rehome due to its " inherent " aggressiveness !

Staffs are in rescue centres because they have been abused, bred to breed for pups to be sold to the chav brigade and taught to fight by the so called travelling brigade in many instances. My bitch was used as a cash cow, pups at 11 months and thrown out afterwards. Ring any vet and ask them which dog bites its owner the most.

i am a staffy owner have been since our Tye was eight weeks old she is now 28 weeks and she is the most loyal and fun dog to have i cant even go to the loo without her kicking up a stink coz she wonders where i have gone she also walks off the lead right by my side never strays what a good dog she is

@billy2rivers1 the woman who sold me my staffy made us sign a paper that said "if i find your dog is being mistreated or given away i have full rights to take back the puppy without any refunds" while we were talking she even said if she finds out im keeping it in the garden she would take it! but he is 5 now and has taken over the sofa and everyones beds lol we fight over him every night whos turn it is to go sleep with him

One of my 3 dogs is a staffie that we rescued a few years ago. She had been used for breeding and fighting yet is as gentle as a lamb with my tribe of kids and other dogs who come into my home. Usually there are 5 dogs here with my daughters 2 and she's accepted all of them with grace and great restraint. We all love Gyps and it makes me ashamed to think of the life many of these lovely dogs -and her- go through at the hands of so called human beings. Again you speak for those who can't xXx

I do understand your side georgiababiiandtom. I have to say though that there are many good dogs, and some bad dogs. It usually isn't the persons fault that a dog attacked them. It is a horrible situation indeed. 99% of the time though it is the people who don't know how to raise or treat a certain breed that gets them into trouble, either they are bit or someone else gets bit and that is a horrilbe situation indeed. If people don't know the breed, they shouldn't get them.
As for owners who have dogs that attack, it proves my point that if they were responsible owners, the tragic events of a bite could have been stopped. As for you liking dmx, I have to say he is a waste of space. He is a 2 time convicted animal abuser. He claims he loves pits, but then starves them and misuses them. just read your comment my staffie is really well trained (even if i do say so myself!) we can walk her of the lead and she doesnt wander, she could see a cat and ignore it and tends to ignore other dogs. Up until recently whenever we met other people whilst walking i would put her back on her lead because of the frightened reactions of people when they saw her! I have stopped doing this they need to realise that shes not going to attack! But since this 3 dogs have gone for mine!

I've only got a one of these dogs because she was rescued from recycle bin , it was the best decision I've ever made, I absolutely adore my Staffie.

I have never came across a vicious staffy. All the staffy's that I've came across wanted nothing more than a kiss and cuddle! Such sweet lovely dogs are sadly being ruined by stupid chavs wanting them as weapons. Th media again do no justice for the staff and over dramatize them as dangerous dogs with out proper clarification to prove. Rottweilers and other big bull/mastif dogs have a bad rep too.
I love all dogs, no dog should have to put up with this hate because it's a certian breed.

We got our wonderfull Samson from a rescue centre to look at him he looks a big scary boy, he was beaten and had his legs broken as a puppy, we have had him from a year old and he is amazing. He is loyal loving gentle and an absolute pleasure, he us amazing with our two kids that came along after him, he loves getting dressed up by my kids and playing with them. I had the most loving gentle staffordshire bull terrier for thirteen years and raised two children alongside him, he loved children and other dogs in a time when there was no stigma attached to the breed, the dog hasnt changed but the owners have, two years on and i still miss my loving friend every day.

wow great vid love it and its been already said but best song on the net by far. all the staffy wants to do is kill you with love and kisses and as a owner of 4 its a wonder i have a face left with all the kisses i get lol. the staffy does have one slight problem though and most owners will agree when they bring a stick back to you to throw for them its never a little stick most the time is half a tree or something of that size but thats just the staffys way thanks again for the great vid.

My staffy currently has puppies. but i still agree with this video, irresponsible breeding by people that don’t have a clue what they are doing, not only are staffs being over bred but the breed is deteriorating. They simply don’t know which dogs make good couples. These days its important to find owners before you even breed your dog. Leave it up to those that have good reps.
breeding dogs dosnt guarantee you a profit, you could end up with 1 puppy and a C section bill.

Someone In my town has tryed getting me to breed my Stafford, Kodi. He has a male Identical to her. She is very chunky and gorgeous. I would love to have a litter of puppies.. but in reality I NEVER would. Yes if everything was all rainbow perfect I probably would. But the facts are the facts. These dogs are getting too much. My female is booked in to be spayed now as none of my dogs will ever be bred, nor will my cats or rats. Breeding is unneccissary at the moment and for many years to come.

Great video. I was out with my STB afew weeks ago.We meet a woman with 3 Jack Russells, although the woman had no control over her dogs she didn't have a lead for any of them and they started barking and jumping all over my dog. Kofi put up with it for a while but when she had enough she warned them with a growl and when that didnt work she went for one of them. She started on me saying agressive dogs like mine should be shot. Its dumb owners like this that should be banned and not the dog.

I know how you feel. Mine was attacked my a labrador. Last week my 15 week old pup got attacked by a spaniel too. Luckily she only had a small cut on her eye.
She's layed here now with me, And sleeping on my arm as I type. I'm 15 years old, yet I know of no other people as educated about their dogs than myself. I am going on to study dog psychology this year (As well as to be a veterinary surgeon).
I believe I am one of the teens that will do well in life.

I'm watching this in bed and two of my girls are laying here cuddled up to me. I was attacked on bowing day by a collie. Left with muscle damage now. And my girl Rizz was attacked by a labrador and lack russell terrier. I had to hold her above my head and kick off the two dogs until the owner came out. Staffords aren't bad dogs, theres just too many idiots and ignorant people. Save the staffs.

i took my four month old staffy puppy to the park today for a play and every yorkie and westie he ran up to with tail wagging growled and snapped at him. The only other dog that would play with him was another full grown very friendly staff. I've never met an unfriendly bull type dog but i've been snapped at by plenty of little rat 'toy' dogs.
Sadly the staffs history and muscley comformation has made them popular with the wrong sort of people. Blame the deed not the breed.

I took my girl to the park and most owners were horrible! There was a guy up there with the biggest 'Staffy' I've ever seen. He loved my girl to bits! We ended up walking them together everyday until I moved house. He was a giant softy!

All dogs can be dangerous if you dont bring them up properly with the correct amount of supervision. I have a staffy and she is very good and wouldnt harm a fly. I know I can trust her as I have trained her properly and dont just use her for status like useless no life chavs who think somehow they are hard because they have a big dog by their side. Ban a staffy and they will find another breed to use to try and make their point. These people dont deserve to have a dog and use it the way they do.

Staffs are in rescue centres because they have been abused, bred to breed for pups to be sold to the chav brigade and taught to fight by the so called travelling brigade in many instances. My bitch was used as a cash cow, pups at 11 months and thrown out afterwards. Ring any vet and ask them which dog bites its owner the most.
There are no media recors because it just aint news when a lab attacks.

i am a staffy owner have been since our Tye was eight weeks old she is now 28 weeks and she is the most loyal and fun dog to have i cant even go to the loo without her kicking up a stink coz she wonders where i have gone she also walks off the lead right by my side never strays what a good dog she is

I love this video i have a staffie too she is also rescued i have had staffies all my life and everyone of them has come from a shelter. I even took in 2 staffie x lab puppies for 7 months that i found abandoned in the woods i eventually found great homes for both of them. Keep up the good work! Fight BSL!

androclestipster. respect to you. i have 2 staffs my self. just the best dogs. it makes me sad to see the way all dogs not just staffs an pitts are treated. i think we as responeable dog owners should educate these people who have this missconception and total tunnel vision about the breed. it is these people who are dangerous. and i bet they havent spent 5 mins with the breed if so im sure they will change there minds.... lets hope so

staffordshire bull terrier shouldnt be a fighting dog some people using them like but they not...... pitbulls are real fighters but not staffies

I was asked again today if i was breeding with Billy my reply was not for a thousand pounds a pup. In a perfect world everyone would have a staffy to dote on .But with so many ill treated and abandoned well you know.

@billy2rivers1 the woman who sold me my staffy made us sign a paper that said "if i find your dog is being mistreated or given away i have full rights to take back the puppy without any refunds" while we were talking she even said if she finds out im keeping it in the garden she would take it! but he is 5 now and has taken over the sofa and everyones beds lol we fight over him every night whos turn it is to go sleep with him

I totally agree with you billy2rivers1. It makes me so mad when people misuse these dogs, (or any animal), and the so called authorities think they need to ban them. One of my 3 dogs is a staffie that we rescued a few years ago. She had been used for breeding and fighting yet is as gentle as a lamb with my tribe of kids and other dogs who come into my home. Usually there are 5 dogs here with my daughters 2 and she's accepted all of them with grace and great restraint. We all love Gyps and it makes me ashamed to think of the life many of these lovely dogs -and her- go through at the hands of so called human beings. Again you speak for those who can't xXx

Adorable these little dogs. It(he,she) depends on how they are educated. The dogs are bad if the owner is wrong, let's never forget it. A dog is the reflection of the soul of your owner.

My Charlie part pit bull and lab ws a wonderful dog he was so good with my grandson PFC Greg when he was little I would leave the baby on the floor with Charlie laying next to him..these are wonderful loving dogs loyal MAN MAKES THEM FIGHT MAN IS THE BLAME NOT THE DOGS Another great video thank you for letting the public know how wrong they are

I do understand your side georgiababiiandtom. I have to say though that there are many good dogs, and some bad dogs. It usually isn't the persons fault that a dog attacked them. It is a horrible situation indeed. 99% of the time though it is the people who don't know how to raise or treat a certain breed that gets them into trouble, either they are bit or someone else gets bit and that is a horrilbe situation indeed. If people don't know the breed, they shouldn't get them.

As for owners who have dogs that attack, it proves my point that if they were responsible owners, the tragic events of a bite could have been stopped. As for you liking dmx, I have to say he is a waste of space. He is a 2 time convicted animal abuser. He claims he loves pits, but then starves them and misuses them. I have no use for anybody who mistreats animals and that includes people who can't act responibly to prevent attacks. I do appreciate you view on this, But not all are bad.
