There's no way Prue died at 6:25PM. The rest of the episode takes place over several hours and it is still daylight! And I don't think it's 6:25 in the morning.
personally i really liked prue. all the sisters are amazing. and i would love for the show the go and never end. but this is reality. prue was a really awesome character. everybody is entitled to their own opinion but seruiously shannon is a good actress.

As much as I liked Prue, I liked Paige Matthews way way better. I'm definitely not in the majority, because I know quite a lot of fans preffered Prue. However, she was very controlling over the sisters, especially Phoebe, when ironically Prue always did what she wanted, whenever she wanted. and most of the episodes started to centre around her a bit. When Paige came in, more humor was brought to the show.
Plus, according to rumours Shannon is a bitch in real life. Rose is a sweetie.
The reason that Prue died and Piper not is because demons can control the power or voltage of their attack. Shax was a well-trained demon and only did what he needed to do, in this case: kill the doctor. So when prue pushed the doctor aside she received the full-powered blast that was meant for the doctor. Then Shax released only a light attack on Piper to just paralyse her and she only hits a pillar. After that he killed the doctor with a full-powered blast. in 4x01, Shane was also 'paralysed'.

Plus the ending was clearly a cliffhanger, seeing how it wasn't established she really died until the first episode of the new season.

@Rickingsh What reason would Shaz have to only paralyze Piper and not kill her? He was an agent of The Source and he would never pass up that chance. The only reason he didn't go after Phobe and Piper after Prue's death wasd because he thought The Charmed Ones were gone with one down. I'm just saying, it was neat way to end Shannen's run, but there are too many holes in the story to be completely passable.

The thing that got me in the final episode of charmed was the fact that they didn't bring prue back or have any pics of her when old leo and piper were walking up the stairs. it would've been nice to have seen all 4 sisters together.

"All hell breaks loose" was a cliffhanger. Because Shannen left the show after Season 3. The continuation was the 2-part charmed again (Season 4).
This is actually not the last episode of season 3. There was another one aired in 2000 or 2001...I think it was called 'accident' or something. That episode showed how Leo couldn't save Prue, just Piper and how Phoebe managed to escape from hell. I think it has never been on the DvDs or something because somehow Shannen Doherty didn't want it to be..I don't really know. But I'm sure there was another episode. If anyone finds it PLEASE tell me, I've been looking all over the internet for it :(

Well, she didn't just crash through a wall, she also crashed her head pretty bad. There's blood coming from it, and that's never good. For anyone! Prue got more injured than Piper cuz she literally crushed the wall, and The Source agreed to let Phoebe and Leo from the Underdround after few hours idk
@miyosk Leo can orb, so Cole distracted the Source, Leo and Phoebe left. But it took several hours for this to happen, so Prue died and Piper was comatose. If Leo hadn't come earlier the first time, the effect would have been the same.
@csrisme Cole helped Phoebe escape. by the time that Leo and Phoebe got to both of them, it was already too late for Prue .. Leo's powers werent big enough to save both of them, so he had to make a choice.
And Phoebe didnt have a demon (note daemon is from Golden Compass, charmed is Demon) after her, she was 'hold' by the source.

Im sure a lot of people liked prue, and i think shannen is alright. But she was really bitchy as Prue. Like," Omg, hi, im a witch so i can treat people like shit and be a little bitch and have everything my way." I liked Paige. It made Piper the best big sister ever and it kinda made her the mother figure of the show. And besides, I don't think Charmed would've lasted 8 seasons if they always had to have someone orb them to the underworld. And Paige was the sister that was always finding herself

@cirbykai the reason she left and didn´t turn up again is because she didn´t get along with the rest of the cast or the production. She was suppose to get ressurected, but she up and went from the show(Charmed) and refused to film anymore, thats why the episode was so weird :)
I couldn't agree more. But I don't think her death was planned by the producers, if Shannen had stayed maybe both Prue and Piper would be dead in Season 4 and Phoebe would have to find a way to save them, I dunno :p
I also don't think Prue had time to react since Shax's energy ball came at the exact moment were she pushed the doctor away.
This made me so angry, and sad! I loved Prue, the show was never the same without her. Paige isn't bad but Prue was better and I was shocked when she died.
Totally unfair to since she was the one who protected the family best. And the fact that we didn't even get to see her as a ghost or something in a later season really SUCKED! Not even in the last season! Charmed rocks, and I will always miss Prue <3 It was a big mistake letting her go!
If i remeber it right it was a fight between shannen and alyssa. One of them had to go and phoebe was more popular than prue. and it ended with that prue died.
Sad, i loved prue and i haven't seen charmed since prue left chamed. Charmed isn't the same as it was when she was there. Although Piper is good, but i've never liked phoebe.

Prue's death was the most NOT ballin death I've ever seen. I mean come on she got killed by SHAX for cry-eye. I mean not only did he have a power of three vanquish (Which I understand phoebe wasn't around to say), But Prue could have easily deflected Shax power. I mean she did it once. Usually her reaction is "Let me see if I can use my power against it" but this time I guess she felt lucky and was like "Maybe if I jump in front of it good things will happen" Prue deserved a better death.

in original version of season (3) finale, there was episode after part 1 of all hell breaks loose. its aired once few years ago when season 3 was premier on tv.

@miyosk Leo can orb, so Cole distracted the Source, Leo and Phoebe left. But it took several hours for this to happen, so Prue died and Piper was comatose. If Leo hadn't come earlier the first time, the effect would have been the same.

@csrisme Cole helped Phoebe escape. by the time that Leo and Phoebe got to both of them, it was already too late for Prue .. Leo's powers werent big enough to save both of them, so he had to make a choice.
And Phoebe didnt have a demon (note daemon is from Golden Compass, charmed is Demon) after her, she was 'hold' by the source.

@Goldenrod636 because he was trapped with phoebe in the underworld, because they made a deal with the Scource (sorry if i spelled this wrong) that if Leo and Phoebe would stay in the underground, the Scource will turn back the time

Im sure a lot of people liked prue, and i think shannen is alright. But she was really bitchy as Prue. Like," Omg, hi, im a witch so i can treat people like shit and be a little bitch and have everything my way." I liked Paige. It made Piper the best big sister ever and it kinda made her the mother figure of the show. And besides, I don't think Charmed would've lasted 8 seasons if they always had to have someone orb them to the underworld. And Paige was the sister that was always finding herself

To me i think It's Alyssa Milano's fault Shannon Daugherty left tha show, just because u guys didn't get along doesn't mean u couldn't put up with each other. I have no problem with Rose Mcgowen, but personally i liked Prue better. She added spark to tha show. I miss it alot, & i cnt believe it's been 4 years since it ended :(

Even though I hate what Shax did, I love how he was designed. One of the good-looking demons of Charmed.
By 'good-looking' I mean not looking like someone from an Mascarade party.
Anyway, I'm sad that Prue died. I'll always hold a grudge for Paige for some reason.

@cirbykai the reason she left and didn´t turn up again is because she didn´t get along with the rest of the cast or the production. She was suppose to get ressurected, but she up and went from the show(Charmed) and refused to film anymore, thats why the episode was so weird :)

I couldn't agree more. But I don't think her death was planned by the producers, if Shannen had stayed maybe both Prue and Piper would be dead in Season 4 and Phoebe would have to find a way to save them, I dunno :p
I also don't think Prue had time to react since Shax's energy ball came at the exact moment were she pushed the doctor away.

This made me so angry, and sad! I loved Prue, the show was never the same without her. Paige isn't bad but Prue was better and I was shocked when she died.
Totally unfair to since she was the one who protected the family best. And the fact that we didn't even get to see her as a ghost or something in a later season really SUCKED! Not even in the last season! Charmed rocks, and I will always miss Prue <3 It was a big mistake letting her go!

If i remeber it right it was a fight between shannen and alyssa. One of them had to go and phoebe was more popular than prue. and it ended with that prue died.
Sad, i loved prue and i haven't seen charmed since prue left chamed. Charmed isn't the same as it was when she was there. Although Piper is good, but i've never liked phoebe.

@anniizk It's not that Alyssa was more popular, but Brad Kern also had dissagreements with Shannen so they let her go. But is only a theory, we will never know for sure what happened. I agree Prue is like the greatest Charmed one, I would have loved that they had let Alyssa go and the new power of 3 would have been Prue, Piper and Paige like in the fanfic ''The Vp's Charmed''... :o)

Prue's death was the most NOT ballin death I've ever seen. I mean come on she got killed by SHAX for cry-eye. I mean not only did he have a power of three vanquish (Which I understand phoebe wasn't around to say), But Prue could have easily deflected Shax power. I mean she did it once. Usually her reaction is "Let me see if I can use my power against it" but this time I guess she felt lucky and was like "Maybe if I jump in front of it good things will happen" Prue deserved a better death.

I loved Prue, i didnt want her to die, i would rather it had been phoebe to die instead. I still dont get it, all three of them got blasted with the same force, and if Leo tried to heal piper and prue at the same time, why did Prue and the doctor die and piper slipped through the cracks.

Force doesn't really matter that much. Prue and the doctor's injuries could have been head injuries or injuries to critical organs.
If you look both Prue and the doctor's heads are bleeding but with Piper it's just her nose.

They never show when Leo heals Piper and not Prue. It's just said in Charmed Again.
Even though I know Shannen and Alyssa didn't get along Prue's death could have been avoided in 1,000 ways.
First of all, she could have used her telekinesis to move the Dr. out of the way or block Shax's attack like she did earlier in the episode.
Second, Cole could have shimmered and told the girls the minute the Source told him.
