When you parry a punch in real boxing, you only have 1/4 of a second to counter. Round 3 gives you a solid 2 seconds, especially when you parry a haymaker. It should not have been cut, just tweaked.

I do see the poster's point though; Round 3 IS pretty bad. However I disagree with eliminating the parry system; they should have tweaked it, made it more high speed, and reduced the opening a parry will give to the amount of time it gives in a real boxing match.

The fight night series went down hill after every new release. The roster of boxers is REALLY bad.....

No Tyson, Benn, Eubank, Foreman, Pazienza, Bowe, Haye, Morrison, Klitchko, Nunn and many many many other fighters who SHOULD be in a game where the disc can hold that many fighters.

Atleast put there names in there to be spoken by the commentator, instead of 'Bulldog', 'hard man' and other crap most people wouldn't use to name their created fighter.

Great graphics but EA really need to learn how to create a game for the fans of boxing.

The roster needs SERIOUS consideration instead of 4 versions of Roy bloody Jones.

The locations also need to incorporate a venue for all major countries and rules like the standing 8 count need to be there.

Ultimately,they need to get professional boxers and experts to test game play for realism before releasing a jerky, unrealistic arcade button masher.

Its still the best but needs improvements!
