@713htown12 They are all separate kinds of rap. Drake and CuDi tend to rap about sex, and partying. B.o.b is very, VERY spiritual. His rap is influenced a lot by psychedelic drugs (which aren't even really drugs, just concioussness expanders). He is trying to bring psychedelics & faith in humanity back to america, which we need greatly... both of them.
I'd like to clarify what this song might be about to those of you who don't know. Do your research on dimethyltryptamine (DMT). It is the most powerful psychedelic in the world and occurs naturally in our own brain. And if you try it, you'll understand why he is everything, and why you are too. "up in the sky like an airplane, and no i'm not talking about mary jane". You smoke DMT, it lasts 10 minutes, and can create profound spiritual experiences so intense they have cured depression. Research.
@leciasslave Im reading this thinking, Thank you! the world is slowly waking up, it excites me to see others speaking up and getting the word out! Peace and love :)
so imma rapp about me and how im learning more about this history goni to school and getting good at vocabulary cuz when i hit u it gonna be harder and stonger then Malcolm x and Martin Luther king you know how this is, sombody like those two bob marly and immotal technique but imma put it out there like b.o.b going on the main stream to my only destiny cuz this is my destanation niga this is my generation...to be continue by:Ryan flores is a blender B.o.B hit me up
@713htown12 not possible cuz a lot of people are so in love with them that they cant do an unbiased argument. For example, there are so many people that are so in love with cudi that they just love every single song he makes, but for me some of the stuff gets repetitive and some songs don't have the best beat but he is still my fav artist
This guy is Enlightened. Listen to what he says. There is something deep within you that resonates with what he is saying. You are already there... Stop searching. I love you all. :)
I liked B.o.B before anyone listened to his mixtape, before anyone heard of him, back when haterz everywhere was his best song. It's still one of his best. I knew he would make it big, especially when nothin on you came out, I knew.
@jboycep in one of his songs he compares himself to andre 3000, so im thi nkin he already admitted it. hes dirtry, as are those artists, and he's going to continue to get better. they only play one or two of his songs on the radio. sooner or later, he'll have as many dick riders as weezy and drake. just wait.
than we can say we listened to him from the beginnning
@jboycep smh, he obviously had to get inspiration from someone, homie.
Chris Brown was inspired by Michael Jackson, who was inspired by James Brown, who was inspired by Louis Jordan etc.. come on now lol. he's not biting. he's taken inspiration and made it his own.
@713htown12 . why should they play of against each other. cant they just be different and not be compared. You cant read a single thing about kid cudi with out someone saying something about drake.. Kid Cudi and B.O.B have talent. Drake is another lil wayne who relys on auto tune.
this guy already made it big with his song haters every where I go the thing is his switched his style witch was a good move he had to find out what kind of artist he was and now you can actually feel him in the music and I love it
not so sure about his songs being bumped in cars, not much heavy bass... which I see is a good thing, straying away from mainstream yet still making it into mainstream (or I foresee)
Kid Cudi made a amazing album, was impressed with Wale's too, Charles Hamilton dropped the perfect album 'ThisPerfect Life' cant wait for him to return. and now Bobby Ray about to drop a classic!
this is what i dont understand, when a new southern rapper like this comes out with crazy talent, he isn't much recognized like someone like hmmm Drake... No diss to Drake or nothing as i like him very much but thats how it was with Andre 3k and Outkast, even tho arguably Andre 3k is the best rapper you find many claiming Jay-Z is... And The Art of Story Telling Pt. 4 was a masterpiece that even Run This Town comes nowhere close to touching, but look at both's success-but thats just my opinion
Man i completely agree with you exept when it comes to jay.....he cannot be even discarded when coming to talent because he is a genius...andre is a completely different style...also legendery
True, but i didnt say he was completely discarded, all i am saying is how southern rappers havee always held some kind of torch but their fame is usually eclipsed by Northern rappers (NO THIS AINT A NORTH VS SOUTH THIHNG) and someclaim style to be the influence... When i speak of rappers and greatness, i only talk bout lyrics, not business ventures or nothing els, but thats me others look at it a whole number of things to influence their decision, i am just talking Lyrically - not bound by style
I'm a huge fan of both B.o.B. and Kid Cudi. To me, those two are on another level, far beyond Drake and Wale. They have a futuristic vibe to them. B.o.B. however has more musical talent than all of them combined, with his ability to rap, sing, play guitar, piano, and produce amazing beats. You can't forget Asher Roth either. I went and saw B.o.B., Asher Roth, and Kid Cudi at the Hangover Tour. Those 3 are making an incredible movement in music.
See I said the same thing too but then I went back and listened to Wales lyrics and lyrically he's on another level, just not one we're used too. He uses metaphors to reference the metaphysical power that hiphop has. When a man talks with intent, in a metaphysical senses he's really spitting fire, and that metaphysical fire from the sound of his mouth has the power to cause him to tap into higher frequencies.. Thats why Wale's so chill sometimes cause he knows that.
Yeah, alot of up and coming rappers mention space and other intergalactic reference just to sound cool and follow the trend. But if bobby mentions "dimensions", he can back it up with a lesson or life story. I know him personally, he's a deep dude, very intelligent, and far from crazy. That's why I say "Hip Hop aint dead, she's pregnant"...because when the baby drops or in other words when people realize how spiritually revolutionary these new schoolers are, it's a rap for any other genre.
finally someone who reconizes ashers talent...people who have heard Change gone come dont even give ash his due respect.....because he ripped that track up.....but i agree Bobby is fuckin amazing!
listen to drake's: so far gone; this album was dropped b4 he signed with lil wayne, after signing with wayne both he and nicki minaj became absolute trash compared to what they used to be.
Yeah Drake and CuDi are good, but why is nobody talking about bobby ray and hyping him up as the future of music cuz he has more talent then both of them.
