the lift makes a noise when you go up so people can hear you comming when you are sitting up the tower.. so instead of taking the lift and making a ruccus, or taking to long by walking all the way around and up the ramp, just do a ghost jump DUH

Plus to some questions below. It's harder to hit a Fast moving and Jumping target (if you're running from someone) than a flying one. Think of it this way...

(1) It's quiet.

(2) Quicker.

(3) More Stealthy (e.g. If you were running from someone and know someone else is up top, Instead of jumping the rest of the way up, Jump backwards and Melee the "Chaser" in the back, and THEN go up.

Why not just take the lift?

Well, lets say an enemy atop is expecting you to come up. You don't exactly come off the lift with much stealth.

With this jump, which is very useful, you can throw off the enemy and give yourself the advantage.
