I have had my 101 since i bought new in the 80's and still use it!. Will never get rid.. such a versatile little synth. If you get chance to own one, do it! ... great fun and very warm analogue sound.

@Lurkai3000 Yes, the SH101 has an inbuilt sequencer so it can play a pattern automatically while you change aspects of the sound manually.

hard to call it bas really eh... drive it down a few octaves and let the env open the filter a little, stop wanking that res too much and then i would call it bass, but hey... have fun thats wots it for..

@jonknoxdj - thats an audio interface for recording isn't it? An ordinary audio cable should do the trick.

But if you mean you would like to control it via your computer with a sequencing software such as ableton, logic, cubase etc. etc. there is a few things you can do. It doesn't have midi, but its got CV/Gate so you could use a CV/Gate to MIDI converter. Or you can sync the speed or the SH-101 internal sequencer with a MIDI sync gadget made by touchprone, just google and you will find it

@pomfrit93 No pedals at all. The sound is picked up by my small digital camera which seems to compress the sound a bit, as well as you get a bit of ambiance from the room. but no effects have been added
