Just curious...how many of y'all are from Denmark? My grandmother Lois Ipson, buried In Sterling, was the youngest of 6 children born to Louis Ipson, emigrated from Bornholm in 1874. She married a Hoffman, there are still a few around Sterling-Alden. I joined the Navy in '81 and only visit now, but I'm sure gettin' homesick in my old age...would love to come back and work with you boys!

Here in Denmark vi do 40 hours and sleep in the tractor for 3-4 hours til the back and ass gets sore and do 20 more hours and go home for the night. We do about a 100 to a 135 hour a week in the peak and about 90 hours a week in the rest of the harvest season. thats 2 month. Plowing and seeding eg. we work 12 hours a day Pay is good: 400.000 DKK is aprox. 75 - 80.000$ a year making nothing 3,5 month of the year.

I've been told that frederick is indeed one of the best in the buisines. Working hours can be pretty long op to 16 hours a day 7 days a week but that's in a good crop. i've had weeks in wich we worked 25 hours the whole week. so it depends. It seems to be that frederick is one of the best to work for as well. by meens of housing conditions equipment and even the food is great. Its home cooked on site by fredeick's wife. To make a long story short Frederick is the best.

so im new to this whole custom harvesting thing and to be honest it looks really great. out of all the companies i've seen so far frederick looks to be the biggest, best, and most fun. what exactly are the working conditions for a operator though? like how bad are the hours and how long are you away from home?

Leaving the corners makes it so your header never leaves the wheat and is actually faster then turning on every corner. Its the same principle as unloading on the go. Custom Harvesters do everything they can to save time and get the field done in the fastest way possible without fucking anything up.

we do that every lap we make. In the end of the field that lieves us with sort of triangular strips of uncut crop in every corner of the field. When the field is finished the combine sits in the middle of the field. we then work our way to one of the corners to cut the strips, and back to the middle to do all the corners

Ik heb eigenlijk een baan als monteur bij een JD dealer. heb hier ontslag genomen en ben voor 7 maanden daar heen geweest. een geweldige tijd gehad. de liedjes dat zijn er verschillende.

Echt een zalig filmpje!!! Ik 'ken' het bedrijf nu al 4jaar en telkens wacht ik vol spanning om de nieuwe foto's te zien. Het is een droom om daar te gaan rijden denk ik. Hoe is het jou bevallen? Zou je het nog eens doen? Is Fredericks een goede firma?

Het was een geweldige tijd. En de firma is ook een heel fijn bedrijf om voor te werken. De mensen zijn heel gezeellig in de omgang, het personeel is gemiddeld zo'n 25, dus na het werk ook zeker een gezellige tijd in de kroeg. Volgens het bureau dat voor mij de papieren heeft geregeld is het een van de beste firma's om voor te werken. Als je het ook wil doen moet je dat zeker doen!! Doe je het niet dan krijg je er spijt van. Ik zou het zo nog eens doen!! echt een aanrader!! Zeker frederick!!
