I know, I've always noticed that about the trailer. I think they figured that the novel, movie and game's most glaring omission was the fact that they didn't have the cliched "Just hold on!" scene over a pit of lava (why the hell there would be a pit of lava is anyone's guess). So, they snuck it into the trailer.
