@hockeyluva77 nah looks like it was just swimming. sperm whales have been known to go very deep, at least sometimes because they eat giant squids which live at the deepest depths of the ocean.
@hockeyluva77 then again I'm no marine biologist so I don't know exactly how deep giant squids go lol but they're so rare and shy, one can assume they go very deep.
@Jakestg Atmospheric dive suits (ADS) can go 2500 under water. The advances in ADS are nothing short of insane (especially those done by the Navy). Now will you catch ME that deep? No chance!! I think this video was shot is by machine (safety cam) but a diver could go that deep. They don't used compressed oxygen alone (helium, nitrogen, & oxygen is the mix I think they use since oxygen is toxic about 200 ft).

i think it was swiming around and it "eccoed" on to the machine and was curius about what it was. it was a spermwhale wasent it?
