  • Wish I could fill things that have lines. I get flashes of white - I guess because all the paths aren't closed. It's a shame because I can draw, scan, template and trace on another layer with the pen - no sweat. Filling? Forget about it!

Does anybody get what I just said, and maybe have a solution? Thanks!

  • @pyannaguy Closing paths can be fiddly. You can download a free script from the Vectips website which will find and close all the open paths in an image. just Google "close all paths script" and you should find it. another quick way of closing a path on a shape is to select it and hit ctrl-j or cmnd - j for mac

  • dude isnt it hard to go over the same lines again,to make the color?extreme what your doign.

  • how is this a tutorial ??it's more of a time lapse coloring video

  • See Zen Grenade my website for full thing

  • Unite all the Black objects first, then Divide'em from a new square...ungroup and that's it...u'll have yoa individual objects

  • wfy dont u use live paint? live is much easier ...

  • I just find the results to be unpredictable

  • That sounds interesting but then you need to use a graphic tablet and I just can't get the same lines with them though I struggled with one for years

  • Ian, have you played around with CS4 yet? I used to do coloring in Ill exactly how you're doing it, but now you can just use the Blob and Erase tools as if you're using photoshop. But everything remains VECTOR!
