Personally I prefer this arabesque at what is considered "fast." I actually prefer that it last around a max of 4 minutes. This was a wonderful performance.
Why can't people turn off their cell phones? What a jerk.
This is the correct tempo, and there are no timing errors in the playing, merely the rubato that the piece is meant to be played with. This is a generally excellent performance. The louder section just before the return of the theme is not how I prefer it, but that's merely artistic license. I prefer a stricter tempo in that section, almost a march-like feel to it, as a nice contrast the the slower, softer section immediately following. That's just my taste, there is no "right" or "wrong".
Don't know why so many people think the tempo is too fast. I think it's fine, even go so far as saying this is one of the best interpretations I've seen on the tube thus far. Thanks for sharing!

GREAT! i love how you channel so much feeling into your playing. i'm 13 and i learned this song and i thought i had mastered it. but after listening to you play it i can see that i need to work on it a little bit more.
I'm listening you and i find such interesting things. I think u have a nice sound but sometimes i dont understand what do u mean in some phrases...most of them in the rubato part and in the risoluto. First part I think u do it very nice! thanx for sharing it!

This is really bad. Too fast, and rhythmically uneven - lots of mistakes with the timing. Terrible.

you played wonderfully, but i feel that since the tempo was so fast, it took away from how moving the song really is
sokhom666 2 years ago
yeah, a bit too fast or it would be even better. Good job anyway.

It's very well done! It is true that this will be good also with a tempo a bit slower ...

Nicely played...Only that I'd like it to have a little more feeling and be of a little slower tempo...
