  • P.S. Believe me. IF this women becomes cognitive again, she will want others to know how harmful abortion is and can be! There are instances in my life where it is of utmost embarrassment to share, but for the livelihood of others, I shall SHARE THE TRUTH.

  • This is sad :( It hurts because so many doctors are performing these deadly procedures... not only deadly for the child, but for the mother. A lot of people defend abortion, I suggest you defend this woman and all others who are coasted into partaking in this harmful surgery. God bless her.

  • good

  • the wages of abortion is barrenness!!!

  • Embu general hospital should be closed. The hospital staff seem not have medical know how.

  • Another reason to legalize abortion now!

  • Its so interesting how our media houses are misinformed. This was an intrusion into her privacy and the media should have blurred the face. The hospital also allowed abuse of their customer by the media. If the lady has knowledge, this is a legal issue.

  • Eddie/Wendwa've reasonable viewpoints: You can't have your cake and eat it...it's time sisters and brothers internalized that! You called the tune be ready to dance!

  • So sad she seems to be in so much pain

  • The more reason we need more out reach in reproductive education, facilities and assistance No one ever takes pride in abortion and abortion should be as rear as posible but when all is said and done we have to leave it to the individual who is closest to it the most:the WOMAN.Ironically our take on abortion seem to change overtime and with the circumstances.Prolifers have been known to recommend abortion to their daughters, lovers and lovers of their sons,My sympathies to the Lady, get well soon

  • Stupid me,I meant rare.Once again I believe that abortion should be as rare as possible but once it becomes an option personal beliefs and religious convictions are surbodinate to public policy and personal rights hence:WOMENS' REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS.This argument may seem frivolous until you consider the full consiquences of the abscence of such rights. At the extreme, you'd have men seeking to reproduce with women without their consent by way of rape, incest,or other forms of coercion

  • since you are bunching rape, incest and 'other forms of coercion' with abortion, then if abortion should be a choice, so should rape and incest. it doesnt work that way!

  • No woman ever made a choice to be raped!!! I can see what Murungu's mentality has done to you Kenyans!!!

  • Yes. How about the baby's right to life, Shonde2? Since lini two wrongs made a right? Let us hang the rapists! Spare the child !

  • @se1nlfe: Shouldnt men also have a say in abortion? Did anyone bother to ask the child if he/she wants to live or not? Who made you in charge of who gets to live and who gets to make it? What if your any Mummy went around procuring an abortion? Women can choose alright : to keep their legs shut ...or let the child live!

  • @siasabora the bottomline is that this issue is way complex than just a proclamation that it is a sin/murder.They didn't say how far along she was and wht circumstances surrounded her need to have the abortion. Women don't just go around aborting for the heck of doing it. What woman would go through a hanger in her uterus just for the jibbies? We can't just starting judging people & situations without the details.

  • @se1ni1fe...( Having trouble keying this name, i apologize) I agree it's unfair to judge on a 40 sec clip. The benefit of the doubt, in my opinion goes to the unborn. The crude manner the termination was done raises suspicions as to the justification of this henious act. I do respect your stand, nonetheless.

  • Wages of sin? Are we casting stones here? The biggest issues I have with NTV here is privacy - what would compel a media house to publicly humiliate an individual already in physical pain and trauma like this. Elsewhere this would be a crippling lawsuit staring at NTV.

  • sure enough its a disgrace and intrusion into her privacy

  • @surambaya Right! Ican't believe NTV did that!!! How thoughtless!

  • a lot people like throwing stones at others. Do we know what circumstances led this woman to this decision? was she able even to make an informed decision as to the consequences? did she have other choices?

  • KILLING AN UNBORN CHILD IS NOT and never was AN OPTION! What are yu talking about?

  • @10nameless thank you! Two things come to play here religious dogma & colonial laws that need to be amended. Just coz it's a sin to you doesn't mean it applies her and considerations should be made to legalize abortion. We have no idea why she made this decision but regardless it should be her choice NOT anyone else's including the govt.

  • murder is murder. What if Obama's mother had had an abortion, for instance? What about the baby's choice? I'm not judging her but we can't pretend what happened was not wrong. First we call a spade a spade, then we can resolve matters. Abortion should remain illegal until we find a way to let the babies speak for themselves. You can't extinguish a generation just because they can't speak.some countries are now paying people to have babies! &ati we wonder why things are going wrong in Kenya?

  • its true people say freedom of choice what about the babies choice. How many barren women would have wanted her baby. Sad that now two years from today every two year old will remind this woman of her baby....30 years from today, 30 year olds will make her ask what her baby could have looked like, i hope she had children before cos this is so sad

  • @wendwa to me the only thing that was wrong here is that she almost died because she could not find a place to have a safe abortion.

  • @se1nl1fe please let us know where you live so that I can make a CHOICE to to terminate you. I am sure you won't mind since you don't consider it a sin to terminate a life and I promise that I will not consider it a sin either. Please post that address.. I will be waiting.

  • @funwithgina r u threatening me? It's one thing to state one's opinion but threatening my life because i don't share your belief is crossing the line.

Word of advice is agree to disagree. You hold your views, I hold mine. Period!

  • @se1nlfe I was not threatening you in anyway as I am opposed to any violence against anyone including unborn babies. I just wanted to prove your hypocrisy. You were so brave saying that women should be able to kill their kids but get all scared when it is your life we are talking about. What gives you any more right to live than the unborn baby? Maybe your mum should have made a "choice" way back when you couldn't speak for yourself.

  • 10nameless, it's sad what happened, but this is murder and there is no excuse. Yes, she for instance had the option to bear her child and give him/her up for adoption.

  • ati one vote lost lol....

  • wages of sin

  • Get Well Soon.

For now you'll suffer for that was what you did to the unborn. Malipo na papa hapa! One vote lost...very unpatriotic!

  • The end justifies the means. the wages of sin is punishment.

  • I don't blame the woman incase she was carrying william Rutos baby - the militia cum warlord.

  • hehehehehe

  • "Let who have not sinned be the first to cast the stone". "Judge not and youll not be judge."

Thank be to God He is a merciful God and does not judge like airheads like yourself. Shetani wewe!
