i believe if the pulled survivor is hanging/stuck somewhere, they will take damage and they will not take damage while being pulled. not sure though.

"record demo1" in console

then type "stop" in console whenever you want to stop recording

view the demo, and record the demo with FRAPS. Works flawlessly for me.

It only happens if the Smoker can't effectively pull you to itself. If it can't, it will just start strangling you with it's tongue. If it can pull you to it, the tongue itself won't do any danger, and he'll start attacking you when you are close enough. Hopefully that clears that up. xD

Granted, but they require the most teamwork and coordination to use effectively. A bad smoker is assloads worse than a bad hunter. And in my experience, smokers rarely ever served as more than a distraction, really. Oh well, maybe I got lucky.
