good old days, Golden AXE 3 is really rare and wasnt it only released in Japan ?

Yeah I think so. Mine is in fact the asian version but I know it was never released in the states or the uk.

You'd be surprised on what pal games don't work on the jap model. Sonic 3 won't but sonic 3d will & so will ristar which is one of the last games to come out for the system,some of the older games like shining force won't play. Also my asian sonic 2 plays the music at the right speed at 60 htz unlike the uk pal version at 60 htz.

Yeah they are great and I only mainly got one so I didn't have to use the convertor anymore. Mainly use my jap md for the jap games.
