Although Jack's my favorite character and I always sympathized with him for his unrequited love of Kate, I never really cared for them as a couple.

Until this scene. It didn't come until the penultimate episode of the series, but this scene made just made this couple for me from this point on. And the way they are in the finale, especially the "long kiss goodbye." The show finally convinced me that they are right together.

This scene really gets me because it makes me think of how far the show has come. How the island used to be vastly populated and now its desolate. Dharma was wiped out, Oceanic passengers wiped out, and the others/temple was wiped out. Only Hurley, Sawyer, Kate, and Jack being the last vital oceanic 815 characters. Really does feel like its the beginning of the end for the show.

It´s so nice scene... and no, I´m sure that they won´t end up together. It´s over, Kate will be with Claire and Aaron at the end. I just love these two so much as individual characters and I just love their characters together in action scenes and in this type of their scenes :))

now that we have seen the end, I'm thinking one of two things. She ended up with sawyer when they got back to the main land, or sawyer decided to do the right thing and go with casadey and be with his daughter and kate eirther stayed single or found another man.

@Chris22090 Yeah I agree with you but I found out that writers didn´t want to show it to us, it wasn´t their story. If they wanted to show it to us, they wouldn´t make this afterlife, no matter what happened in their lives after the island (I think that S/K had some kind of relationship together, maybe not romantic conection but I´m sure that they were in contact with eachother after the island.) But that´s not important. Their lives on the island were important.

@Chris22090 Well IF Kate, Swayer, Claire made to the main land (considering in the ep. Namaste Richard said to Sun he saw ALL of them die when he looked at the pic with the new recruits) what we know Kate reunited Aaron & Claire & went to prison for breaking the conditional for leaving the state & prob. kept contact the way she could with them.

@luadyp Not necessarily, if the Ajira plane made it back to the mainland then it would be VERY hard for them to lie about where they were for a couple of weeks. If they told the truth about EVERYTHING then a judge might be a little forgiving that she left the state to go to an island where she might not have come back from to rescue a young mother who was seperated from her child. P.S. Richard was refering to The Incident when he said that he saw them all die.
