I am a huge gun enthusiast, and have many AK variants, but I do have to say that shooting a car that close is not the smartest thing to do. Not all of it's metal is thin sheet metal. The speeds of the 7.62x39 ricochet are not going to be deadly if it hit your body (Hurt like crazy though), but a ricochet that close could definitely cause eye damage as you were not wearing proper eye protection. I'll shoot steel that close with a 9mm and 45ACP pistol, but not with a rifle caliber. Be careful.

It's not like a pool ball where it will hit and deflect at an opposite angle. It will keep traveling in the same direction until it stops. If it can't continue, it will slow down and grind along a relative vector to its current vector. It's not going to put itself into reverse and regain full speed. Retards.
