@26libertarian seeing as how i myself am a believer in free energy AND a supporter of the fight against the ongoing conspirators who suppress humanity by suppressing this technology, i'm most certainly not a liberal.
i'm not exactly a libertarian though. i hate to break this to you, but going back to a gold standard or using fiat currency isn't compatible at all with what the global economy has become. to accomplish it w/o collapsing the entire world economy isn't possible. private message me..
@Xerock No I'm not. Gene Roddenberry's ORIGINAL INSPIRATION FOR STAR TREK came exclusively from a cult called the council of nine. If you've ever read "The Only Planet Of Choice" (author: PHYLLIS V. SCHLEMMER), you'd know that Roddenberry himself was participating in these live channeling sessions with mediums who basically said, literally, "It's not the black race's fault that they lack any divine spark".
Roddenberry was saved by bankruptcy by a member of this cult. The show was of their will.
@katsumorymoto Well, if you look at the original series, Klingons appeared more like mongolians than black. In fact, the three first Klingons were played by white men (Colicos, Campbell, Ansara). Star Trek was in fact promoting tolerance. Look at Uhura, and especially the episode where Kirk kisses her (a scandal at the time). ANd what about that episode where a black and white alien policeman was hunting a "criminal" just because he was white and black?
@Xerxes2005 And if Roddenberry was in the KKK, would you still cite those examples as relevant? This "council of nine" cult is directly in favor of the suppression of technology as well. It's safe to say Roddenberry was a believer in the concept of free energy, seeing as how one of the 2 founders of the cult, Andrija Puharich, invented a form of water burning blowtorch that is NOT comparable with oxyhydrogen in terms of efficiency. It was reinvented/suppressed later as the "Aquygen" blowtorch.
@katsumorymoto That's the most idiotic thing I've ever read.
In fact, of the hundreds of Klingons they've had on the various shows, less than a dozen were played by black actors. Of those, only Michael Dorn & Tony Todd (Kurn) had roles of any prominence.
I get the impression that "Lady"Sirella is a bit of a snob. "Supervising the unloading of her bags", for example, little hints like that. It says all the more for Martok that a common man without any noble blood married a snob from the upper classes - especially in Klingon society.
Yeah - but Klingon society is very similar to Feudal Japan, getting married for status (and to gain honour) as much as emotion. Although it sounds like Martok has very strong feelings for his wife (admiration, reverence, value, lust and comradery) he never uses the word 'love' - although in the Klingon language there is no word for love.
@ringmaster316ms I can see that in a commercial: "Can switching to Geico really save you 15% or more on insurance? Does a Klingon make a terrible marriage councillor?" I see Bat'leths being involved! :)
beg to differ Saerain XD ; you try dealing with a hotty who has a Troll of a female friend who keeps cockblocking you , WHEN THERE IS SERIOUS chemestry between a Viking and her female friend .
that my friend is First blood drawn by the female gender ;)
TPTB wasted time coming up scenes between Martk and Worf because Martok's best scenes are mostly with Sisko. Great chemistry between the characters and actors.
I use this video to taunt my cousin in his new relationship all the time.
I liken their courtship to him being tamed, as a dog would be, and congratulate his girlfriend for her subjugation of his spirit.

whoever decided to make the most violent and socially dysfunctional race (the klingons) be black people was a racist.

@katsumorymoto
Klingons were not originally played by black people. Hell Christopher Lloyd played one in Star Trek III.
You're looking for racism where it doesn't exist.
