How is this game compared to Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia? I have those games, and I want to know if it's worth getting this one for Christmas.

@Clariex18 When you look at the symbolism of the whip, then yeah it makes a lot of sense. The Whip symbolizes power and authority; but magic deals with the occult. You can't fight the occult with the occult because it's all the same thing. That's like trying to but out a fire with a flame thrower.

I know she's suppose to be that of "Spiritual Warfare" but I'm sure there's another name they could have used instead of "Magic".

@BlueMageWithSoulEdge Well yeah, if you wanna be ridiculous about it. Lots of characters use magic in the Castlevania timeline. Sypha, Carrie, Charlotte, Yoko. There's good magic, and there's evil magic. It's simple as that really. I don't see why it needs another name, when magic works just fine.

@Clariex18 Why don't you go and look up the definition of the word magic and then the biblical definition; while doing that, look up the commandments of why we should NOT mess with magic, then you would get the picture.

Using magic and the using the Holy Ghost are two different things. In a game that is using symbolism, we can't over look the symbols.

@Durandal999 So? Still a median of entertainment that comes into homes and is exposed to your wife and kids. It still carries the same rules of writing a novel or epic. It still have the same work (or even more) put into it as to that of an t.v. show or movie.

You should pay attention to what you do. Anything that you let close to your fantasy can easily influence you're thinking especially when the underlining message is one as the same of Alistor Crowly.

Besides, games comes with rating, instead of saying nonsence sit with your childerns and see what they are watching

I find this game to be quite a paradox because john morris is supposed to be the son of Quincey morris from dracula the bram stoker novel. like AVGN said it's like taking two cannons and putting them together.
