  • Not much to do with this big thing other than stack a ship or put a derailed train together... Or just dig dirt up.

  • wtf did the track break or what? It looks like the track on the front is missing

  • Comment removed

  • THAT IS BY FAR THE BIGGEST SHOVEL I'VE DAMN WELL SEEN! 0_o

  • the 2 at the back are [ pushers ].

  • You won't see this on Ice Road Truckers!

  • @SimXLive to see that they would have to figure a way to over dramatize that...not sure if that is possible.

  • @SimXLive What a stupid comment!!!! Get an education and stay away from colleges on match book covers.

  • 550 t ex 5500 !!!

  • What would have been an even better video is seeing how they loaded that thing on the trailer with that broken track! And the chains were probably were a law abiding move - as stupid as it is/sounds.

  • what? 384 !!!!

  • He forgot to put the wideload sign on the truck

  • @tyrone121285 sign on the top of the truck ( red and white striped D ) means over dimensional ;)

  • for anyone guessing how many tires on the trailer.. it's 16 tires across 24 long so.. 24x16=384.. 384 tires on the trailer alone..

  • loads like that just slow my weekly commute to ft. McAshtray

  • Whats the point in chaining it down? i mean really lol

  • @motrucker03 those are "feel good" chains.

  • they had to take half the track off to meet weight restrictions

  • i was so lucky. the timing was perfect. this made a stop right when i got behind it.

  • robots in disguise ?

  • sisu axles in that bad boy!

  • Hang on! You gon'na be okay!

  • Your vid went viral on Taipei

  • How long did it take to pre-trip that trailer?

  • how heavy 975 000?

  • "oh hercules, hercules hercules!"

  • Your vid went viral on Jamaica

  • nice

  • No, it looks more like Chuck Norris' lawn mower.

  • i think we got a flat....

  • I don't see one oversize load flag

  • @AdamKaczor They're on closed, private roads, no need for flags.

  • @alco424 now thats what i call a low loader

  • @doggystarful Yeah, they like to do things big up here.

  • thats alot of wheels

  • That transport driver better not be getting paid by the hour...

  • Think the 56th tire on the inside is a little low. Anybody know where the nearest gas station is.

  • You would need more than a Motocraft tool set to work on that.

  • imagine the price on replacing all those trailer tires

  • That excavator is so obese that it have to be rolled on a trailer!

  • Betcha THAT move cost a couple hundred bucks..........

  • What if they filled the tires with helium?

  • how many stop sticks would it take

  • wooow... tiene 384 llantas :O

  • Shake that camera one more time!

  • look that kenworth is pulling a giant excavator and two little western stars ha ha

  • @mingopetro im pretty sure the western stars are push trucks lol

  • @mingopetro ur not realy smart huhh ? the 2 trucks behind them are actually pushing that shit forward

  • @ShafiqMaaskamp you want to talk about smart! notice how i spell REALLY thats right two L's oh yeah HUH one H and by the way do you think it is common practice for me to put HAHA after every sentence? or do you think that maybe it was a joke? you decide

  • @mingopetro maby cuz im not english u dumb nerd, i live in amsterdam and we talk dutch out here, you should talk dutch and lets see who's spelling wrong, you dont even know 1 word in dutch so at least you shut up.

  • @ShafiqMaaskamp the original comment i made was a joke obviously at least 3 other people understood that, you keep telling me how stupid i am when in fact you may need to look in the mirror but i am sure you will keep leaving childish comments and proving my point. as for me not speaking dutch you can flikker op!

  • @mingopetro well that joke was verry not funny, congratulations, 1 word in dutch. cancer kid

  • @ShafiqMaaskamp thank you on the congratulations, even though it was two words and i would like to congratulate you on contunuing to prove my point on your ignorance with all the name calling, however if calling me names helps you feel better about all your insecurities than i guess i am ok with that.

  • @mingopetro ja toch helemaal

  • @mingopetro Kenworth is the best! Western star is nothing compared to Kenworth!

  • @krdans Easy there, Billy. We're talking about big trucks, not Fords and Chevies. Any truck will do the job if you spec it out right. WesternStar, Kenworth, Peterbilt and Freightliner are all just swell trucks; the new Detroit Diesel can do circles around Paccar's new motor line up.

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld the engines and tranny's are what are important the rest is just a shell to hold and distribute power.

  • @circusboy90210 While what you said is completely true, you have to factor in that the truck manufacturer builds and manufacturs the components for the engine. Emmision control systems, for example, are components built by the truck manufacturer that can have a dramatic effect on the performance of the truck. We had a 2008 Volvo (Volvo 13L engine, 10 spd fuller) on the fleet until early last year, and he was on the hook 5 or 6 times (Volvo 13L engine, 10 spd fuller) in the 2 years it was here

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld (con't). We have had trucks from all different brands working with us, all within similar specs and this Volvo had been the worst by far. As a rule, the older the truck, and the less the manufacturer had a hand in anything to do with the motor, the better the trucks tend to be.

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld this is anti common sense. one would tend to feel that as component and subcomponent manufactureres deal in a more intimate manner with the final integrator to fit these unit's together in a symphony of mechanical operation , these units would operate better not worse. please eludicate.

  • @circusboy90210 Common words weren't good enough for you? My vocabulary isn't nearly large enough to accomodate the words in your post or how you used them. If you wish to simplify and quit talking like a cunt, I'd be more than happy to discuss this.

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld how is it that the more sophisticated the truck the less reliable?? makes no sense at all. these are defenatly more reliable than the trucks dad drove in the 70's. please explain. common words do not always explain the nuances a person feels about the subject.

  • @circusboy90210 Simple is better, I thought this was common sense. Ask any truck driver or diesel mechanic in North America what he thinks of new trucks, and he'll tell you he'd take a pre-2003 truck over a new truck any day. (non-owner/operators don't count. They don't have to pay for repairs) Trucks themselves have been improving since the 70s, but the improvments were done by the engine manufacturer and the truck manufacturer separately. They were building subsystems for [cont

  • @circusboy90210 each other. Anyways, the point of what I said earlier stands true. What we are talking about now is not pertinent to what was originally said.

The Engine, Trans and Driveline are what is important, but the truck shell is just as important as the systems manufactured by the truck brand could be very good or very bad. There is a reason you see far less old sterlings or volvos on the road today than other trucks.

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld yes to a certain extent simpler is better but more parts also means less strain for each part. quality control plays a larger part in this, freightliner shipping jobs to mexico does not assist in this at all. sterlings are awesome, I prefer the kenworth myself if I were to purchase an over the road. probably going to end up doing fed ex custom critical here sson & am saving up my money as we speak. don't know if I want to do 18 wheel or straight truck.

  • @circusboy90210 18 wheel. If you can get that job, then you always have a job in the future. It's often difficult for straight truck guys to move into 18 wheelers.

More parts doesn't necessarily mean less stress, because the parts that are being added aren't necessary. The Driveline pretty much has the same amount of parts, be it a 1996 Peterbilt or a 2012 Volvo, or a 1956 Mack. They've gotten better, no doubt, but I'm referring to all the extra emissions shit and what not.

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld allready have driven 18 wheelers trying to figure out which get's more revenue. from what I've learned about this situation is the straight truck does not carry as much freight but get's there faster and hauls higher dollar commoditys. yes emissions parts cause more fuel to be burned and hence the emissions remain about theh same anyhow. the dpf is a good thing thougn if used properlly.

  • @circusboy90210 Yeah they should have stopped at the DPF filter imho, but oh what, what can you do. The EPA and American Government has their mind set on holding our hands and wiping our asses for us.

I'm an owner operator right now, and I'm actually considering moving to hourly-pay local flatbed work for a paving company, or joining the Armed Forces as an MSE OPs truck driver. There's too much bullshit with OTR anymore.

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld the epa has no real concerns for our environment or they would allow all waste to be considered a commodity instead of demanding it be buried or destroyed. everything has a value , even human shit. the problem is connecting the waste with the buyer.

I'm going to do fed ex custom critical or get back into bed bugging, as an owner/operator. government intervention hurts many industry's, then wonders why china looks so nice in comparison.

  • @circusboy90210 FedEx Custom Critical, those are the 5 ton trucks with the tag axle and giant bunks, no?

  • @mannwhosoldtheworld si , custom critical also operates 18 wheelers (or class 8 trucks if you like) in their operations. it can pay more than bedbugging by far and way less work as far as touching the freight . I like bedbuggin because it's like a paid workout and you get to meet people that have money and can invest into other ideas.

  • My job sucks!

  • What in hells name i thought the last video i saw had a big machine but this is giant its for a quarry right?

  • I bet young Aussie from the Bights is there moving that beast....

  • @SuperFrosty96 HAHAHA LMAO GREAT ONE

  • pull that into a Jiffy Lube and ask them to rotate the tires o_O

  • @pixel288 30 minutes or less!

  • @pixel288 ask for an alignment too

  • @pixel288 They would leave at least 10 wheels loose...then blame you for not coming back to " re torque" them.

  • legal

  • GOOD

  • Just wait till they get wherever they're going and find out their "complete" shovel is missing the bucket and half a track ;)

  • Did a count 144 double-tires?

  • SALUDO DEDES TABASCO MEXICO

  • Looks like Optimus Prime transporting Demolisher

  • i like how you can click on any video of something huge being moved on a truck like this...and find at least 10 comments saying "id hate to check the tire pressure"

  • Is that 10/1 scale?

  • how do you fix a flat

  • 346 wheeler

  • If they used Pete's they would only need one truck to pull that little thing,

  • @carlylea haha, ya right

  • is there really any need for pilot trucks on this

  • Feel sorry for the guy checking tire air pressures

  • thats not complete but very cool

  • Tire count 384.

  • @RICK11211 Tire count 414, don't forget the tractors pulling and pushing.

  • @ClowesClause im sorry sir but yo are 173249883247091324 pounds over weight ----wait how many axles do you have o ur fine then

  • @ClowesClause It has an exemption. a special permit that permits it to be exempt of weight regulations

  • @ClowesClause Hahahahahha, I just died laughing thinking about that.

  • kool and big shovel

  • what a joke. this is not a complete ex5500... dont you see the upper half of the right track is gone. :P anyone could move it when its missing that half of the track. lo. seriously. nice stuff. and those D signs are so sexy. makes me wanna come to canada and escort up there. :(

  • Mammoet...A Dutch Company !

  • @rvds1289 means mammoth :P

  • I was there the day that was moved onto site. It was without a doubt the neatest thing to see. Lots of wheels and lots of people to get this done. Apparently this was the largest move up HWY 63 from Edmonton done so far.

  • @bartman441 Ugh I hated that drive...

  • @bartman441 This load didn't come up 63 from Edmonton. It was moved to Kearl Lake from Aurora. Before that, it was moved from Base Mine to Aurora, and it was built at Base Mine.

  • just like the good'old saying: you ain't got much, if you ain't got the dutch..

  • kwhopper for the win

  • Great video!

  • ftmacredneck u make it sound like you were there.............lol

  • Hi piet1966,

Thank you for this brilliant video. It shows the comparison of what it a huge vehicle, IE the Mammoet, to the Vast size of the Hitachi EX5500 !

B_U_T........... It is is course NOT complete. There is the arm that holds the bucket and the vast bucket itself to ad to this!

    Thank you again.

    Take care,

    mrbluenun

  • that thing is just a little toy hahaha.
