I have the Lachesis 5600 DPI. At first, yeah: the ergonomics do feel awkward. But after a few weeks of use, it actually starts to make good sense, and it actually becomes comfortable!
all people say : DEATHADDER IS BETTER THAN THE LACHESIS gnagnagna...
It's true if you are right handed ... But if you are left handed ? Lachesis WIN ... Stop to make stupids comparaisons, because, lachesis is aa mouse for left handed only...
the mouse coating feels greesy, the buttons are in the wrong place, the 2 buttons on the right side if you acidently push them you swap profile mid game hence the screen freezes. crap mouse i have one and i regret buying it,
Hey, really nice mouse im thinking of buying it soon, And maybe a razer or some other high quality mousepad. And i myself dont know much about the surfaces and wich suits for what type of mouse, like cloth, rubber surfaces and id really love if someone could reply me What kinda mousepad fits the Razer Lachesis?.
I have the same mousepad & mouse here, did anyone else find that the feet on this mouse seems like they r not as slippery as other mice are? While using it on this mouse pad & the control side (which is really the SPEED side because it has less friction which equals quicker mouse movement on the pad) it almost felt like it was scratching. My logitech mx revo just glides easily over this pad but not the Lachesis. It also feels like a cheap piece of plastic compared to the evo (feels like a tank).
I got the lechesis for Chris†mas and i'm bummed. When ever I turn my comp on, i have to unplug the mouse from the usb and plug it back in to turn it on. I checked Razers site they said to look for driver 1.74ws to be posted SOON. They said that back in October according to a forum i went to. I checked their FAQ, they had me mess with my usb bus controller, still nothing. So no help there. On top of all this, it will intermitantly loose connection. No help for this either. 2/5
There is no such thing as 1.74 drivers, you are mistaken. The drivers are v1.10, its the FIRMWARE that is 1.75 in October and I'm using v1.91 right now. Infact I have the exact same setup as in this video (mousepad and mouse). This sounds like a problem with your os, I've had to deal with the exact same problem you have atm before, if you want help (since I can only write so much here before I'm out of space) send me a message. Try the mouse in another machine too, I bet it works fine.
i reccommen the qpad ct mousemat or the razer destructor which it goes perfectly with. It works perfectly on and off a mousemat and you might want to note. A 4000dpi mouse is not going to move off a mousemat anyway
I got that mouse its really good i used to have the eXact mat aswell lets just say after a couple of months you will regret buying that mat when it eat's away the feet of your mouse and its self.
Yeah when i had the exact mat i had the copperhead mouse (rip) with it so had to buy new mouse feet every 2 months or more due to the mat (using grip side), but i do have the lachesis now (damn fine mouse) with the steelseries black soft mousemat and all's good atm for the past 7 months. The Razer Goliathus mat looks good though might pick one up soon

eXtasYl33t 2 years ago
not really for some ppl the deathadder suits it better because of the shape but both of them are great
whlzdenis 2 years ago
yeah okay but i need 3000+ dpi i cant play under 3000 ;) but hey everybody is different :D some1 like high sens and some low sens :D
eXtasYl33t 2 years ago
yh thats wat i mean
not every1 are the same
even is the lachesis has more dpi for some ppl the design/shape really matters but for some only the speed and off course the shape a lil bit

Have you tryed it out on different USB ports?
Try using the keyboard on a different USB port, and then the mouse in that.
Mix around until it works, because that way I could solve it. (I have a G15 keyboard)
REDxFROG 2 years ago
yeah I tried 4 differant ports and it didn't make a bit of differance.
