Wow, three years later and people are still bitching about the music. Sooooo from now on useless comments will immediately be deleted. Have a nice day!
What can be even cool is going to a pond and throwing a rock in and take a picture right when the rock hits the water :) I use a DSLR and put it on portrait mode with a portrait lens and it looks rly cool
you've made it look real simple, but this is really tricky....! and you haven't explained anything regarding manual focusing, which is the key to the whole thing!
A much easier way to take photo of water drops is to have it dark in the room, and then use a flash. The flash must adjust down to a lower power value. The camera can be at 1/200s, F16, ISO100.
The secret lies in the adjustment of the flash power. A flash that is stepped down to 1/16 or 1/32 power output has an effective light times of approx. 1/8000s (power exposure -2 if you use the internal flash). In a dark room is the effetive exposure time now 1/8000s and not 1/200s!
If the camera shutter speed is 1/200s and the flash blink is 1/8000s, andit is dark in the room, then the effetive exposure time now 1/8000s and not 1/200s! The big different is that you now will freese the drop without 3x500W of lamps.
ooo! awesome, so even if the camera reads 1/200 its only exposing for as long as the flash goes off? well either way, thank you very much, i am actually doing droplet pics this very second so i will definitely try that :D
Cool demo! I've tried it in my kitchen sink with additional lights and reflectors, but it never occurred to me to use a drum or large bucket. Thanks for the idea!
awesome music and awesome video

Use a coloured piece of paper and point a light at it, the light will reflect off the paper and onto the water changing its colour
